I don't believe this is an ego rubbing contest as what was described. And only the initial voting will take a bit of time Nando. Afterwards you are just saying if someone has improved or got worse from their current level.

It is an ego rubbing contest, how could it possibly not be!?

If people vote properly and honestly and not just for the mates then it could be good and help people maybe look at the promo's in a different way or up their game

But I would always put you and The Saint top.

Through no fault of anyone else we haven't got anything different here than the shows and, although improved lately, sporadic chat. Now we have the tree and Marky's music of 6cw. Just keeps things fresh between shows.

Can we get a Nudes section to draw the youth back in?

I'm sure it caused friction last time. I can't find the archives though to provide evidence.

I'm not gonna cos I can't see how my opinion won't be divisive in the long run.

I take it back, it didn't cause much friction, just Saint being precious.

I don't wish to take part as I do this for fun, not to be judged, and as the great man one said....

The only problem with that is that anyone can get titles, challenge for them or be all over the show whether they deserve it or not, it's down to the GM's and a whim sometimes

Yeah true. You can't have everyone involved in title and title challenging but that doesn't mean that person isn't doing really good promos. The tree can be used as an acknowledgement of that.

Can't think of a better example, but grudgingly you can say that of Hero.

Music of 6CW is done as a Spotify Playlist, with some missing as they're not on Spotify, a couple are covers as the original song isn't there, and a couple of the instrumentals are the normal versions.

Its not a conspiracy, I've just had enough controversy around stuff i've done that i'm removing even the small possibility with this! No attack, I promise, just one of these things that being a decision-maker means I should stay away from.

In his defense, when i was in charge at 6WF, I didn't take part in the tree.

Like Crimey said. Majority of us wrote garbage when we first started this, then developed into mediocrity.

Worst promo : My drunken promo or the one where me and Saint did a back and fore saying what we are going to do to our opponent and we went about 4 promos too far in repeating ourselves ad nauseum

My worst promos easily were the jeremy kyle and searching for reborn ones...they were VERY fun to write and pretty much just an experiment...

...the fact that they didnt work should not take away from the fact that they combined both the twitter feed and promo thread to try and make something funny...but in the end i would say they were terrible.

Subsequently the 4th wall breaking collabs with Dicey in my eyes were bloody brilliant lol.

QOTD: It's weird, I feel my first ever promo still holds up, it's just really short...I'd possibly say that my worst ever one was when Liam Wood was being punished by Mr Jones when he was still face and I had him appear in a bath advert where one of the lines was "laying the smackdown on relaxation" or something dumb like that...i wrote it becasue I posted something in the Facebook chat about how excited I was to have a bubble bath and it spiralled from there.

I also could have added a segment I wrote for Liam Wood for a recent show but Chris edited out the bit where I say Engel was going to crack faster than Ryan Mason's skull #cheapheat.

My very first one. Too many fart jokes and ending up decking Altair. Didn't realise it wasn't the correct way to promo.

A few Joshua ones were pants in the middle of his championship run too.
