Afternoon all,

Not sure how this has slipped under the radar but unfortunately Dean Francis has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

He was a great fighter with the heart of a lion. I loved watching his fights. Horrible news.

He's 43 Truss.

I remember watching him fight one handed once after he dislocated his shoulder.

He could have got a world strap but had a lot of really bad injuries.

Nice to see the boxing world coming together doing their bit. Lee Selby, Haskins and Degale have all been trying to raise money. I'm sure plenty more are involved.

This is indeed very sad news. Half decent career blighted by injury and now this. His poor family.

Sad news - remember watching him live putting David Starie on queer street on a Naz bill. Hoping the fundraisers do a good job.
