Tactics: We're going to attack them down the middle today - look to play quick one/two touch football through the middle, and use our strikers pace in behind. Neves/Guardado sit in to protect the back four/spray passes, FBs have license to bomb forward. Roberts/Zinchenko have free roles essentially, but stay middle predominantly. Niasse/Locadia look to get in behind with your pace and finish.

Away to PSV today, I want us to play a pressing game whenever they are in our half and utilise our pace when counter attacking.

Baumann, command your area at all times, distribute long and wide, be wary of long range efforts.

Defence, Sule mark their striker, Theo to play as the spare man to get to any second balls. Henrichs and Toljan to overlap our wingers going forward, but track back quickly.

Midfield, Rudy and Gueye sit in front of the back four, ensure we are hard to penetrate. In possession use your passing and power to get the ball to Jonas. Jonas will use his trickery to create space and chances.

Attack, Pulisic and Amiri to run at the PSV defence, get crosses in to Ibrahimovic but on occasion cut infield, either to link with Jonas or Ibrahimovic, or to feed Henrichs and Toljan overlapping you. Shoot when it opens up. Ibrahimovic to get onto the end of every cross and pass, shoot on sight, try to spin in behind the last defender.

Today we’re playing a 4141 formation designed to maintain a solid defensive line, resilience under pressure and then allow bursts of attack with devastating speed.
Defensively we’ll allow Leipzig the ball in their own half but ensure they’re closed down in ours, wingers to come back centrally and swamp play, Koziello to operate just ahead of the back line, protect the hole and be the first line of turning defence to a quick counter. CBs keep close to Kane, keep him on his weaker foot and slow his play down, Koziello ahead will look to close channels. FBs to push wingers to flanks and block crosses. Frustration followed by swift penetration, like Olly's love life.
Going forward Dembele & SM will alternate flanks, hit hard and fast, Werner pulling markers with them, Bakayoko to go the furthest forward of CMs, head towards the FB then diagonally draw them and CB backwards to create space for flanks.

GAMEPLAN
Today we're gonna pack the midfield with b2b players who will help both in attack and defence. I want Cyprien and Tolisso to help our fullbacks in defending duties against the pacy Dembele and the inexperienced Mboula. Tousart stick close to Werner and double team him asap with help of the defence.

DEFENCE
Orban mark their main striker, Zagadou to do covering. Fullbacks make overlapping runs and get crosses into the box. Tousart's main role defend, cut passing lanes and close down attackers. Cyprien and Tolisso will be playing as b2b and will help both attack and defence. Make runs forward, play quick one twos to create space in middle. CM's to drift out wide and get crosses in occasionally.


ATTACK
Asensio to play quick passes with teammates and make runs into box. Kane play as proper old school number 9. Get on end of crosses and use expert poacher skills to get goals. Philipp use pace to play off defenders shoulders look for through balls and time your run.
