I'm struggling a bit to form a transfer strategy given the disparity between younger and older players ratings on FIFA, and the potential for those younger players to be world beaters in FIFA 19 !

Their all worth a fair bit to me being high rated defenders but cheap TM wise. so would need a very good trade or price as would need to spend 3x as much to replace them

Hero means whether these are the updated ratings dependent on performance this season, or the ratings that the players were given when the game came out

So Jesus has gone from an 81 in September to an 83 now

Yeah, on the top left of each players page, it has the date of the latest update

Updates are scheduled as follows ..

As most of you are probably aware, EA updates the player roster twice a week. The schedule is as follows:
Monday: Mainly contract updates and/or changes in personal information.
Thursday: Upgrades and downgrades, position changes, formation changes, transfers and addition/removal of players.

As long as Hero is selecting live form (I hope so!!!) then that'll be the ratings

So I think we ascertained these are the ratings being used as they are the SoFifa ratings, which aren't the Live Form ones.
