Too much PPV
BT are launching their box office with the Canelo v Golovkin 2 event, also it was announced last night Wilder v Fury will also be on there in December.
In September there are 3 ppv’s in consecutive weeks. AJ v Povetkin, Canelo v Golovkin and Smith B Groves. Do you think this will damage UK boxing in the long term if this trend continues?

Re: Too much PPV
Of course....boxnation was lauded when it first arrived...hasn't taken long for old Frank Warren to go back to his PvP playbook.
The Frampton card wasn't on Boxnation last night..and last month you had a fight which was on Boxnation but not on BT sport. Throw in PPV and if you were a true boxing fan then by the years end you'd have to have spent a small fortune to watch the sport you love.
You'd require a BT Sport, Boxnation and SKY SPORTS subscription...that alone is to the tune of almost 65 quid a month...Throw in what's going to be roughly 15 PPV at average price of £15 and to watch boxing is costing a fan almost £900 a year. That's absolutely disgusting and quite frankly their should be governing in place to ensure costs like this don't arise.
Pretty soon Eddie launches Dazn boxing too....which will have exclusive rights to set cards..so Chuck another expense on top.
Quite frankly with situations like this taking over all sports we as fans shouldn't be worrying about being fined for promoting 'those alternative ways to watch which shall not be named' ...we should all be flagrantly breaking the rule and ensure we start putting a serious dent in promoters pockets and send a message that we are not here for our passion to be taken advantage of.
(Having typed and re-read this especially the costs I am actually now considering a proper look into the costs followed by a petition...Quite clearly for all the crowing about promotional competition beinhg good for the sport all its done is create mass costs for us the consumers.

Happening with the vast majority of sports now. Very bad for the consumer.
