Of the transfers this week he's not showing up. Benedetti was not st the club stated but in Italian Serie B and Yangel Herrera is at neither of the club's mentioned.
Keep asking but can we all please ensure we write down the club the player is at in the Jan 10th version of Fifa or if not in.

Sorry Hero - as Afro says, he was at Athletico Nacional of the Colombian Liga Costobon. I never remember to check previous versions for club (I always check rating) but will do so from now on

Don't know what to do now as if he's not on the game I'll have only 20 players for my team and you need 21 to play a match. Either I

1. Cancel both my lawyer and foreign this week and accept the lawyer till after the match is done.

2. Buy a player instead of Herrera for this week.

He is on the game. Looks like he was moved from New York to Unemployed in the 10th Jan version, and then to Huesca on the 17th Jan version.

I'd say yes.

From the rules...

Signing Players not on FIFA

•If a player appears on both versions, they are available for purchase and they must be 70 rated or less on both versions

•If a player appears on one version, but not both, they are available for purchase and they must be 70 rated or less on that version

•If a player appears on neither version, but are currently at a club who are full licenced on FIFA (i.e. the squad uses the real players) they are available for purchase. However, if they are added to FIFA and their starting rating is greater than 70 (or the current cap at the time), they cannot be played until their rating is within the cap (either through a reduction in rating in a FIFA update, or by an increase in the ratings cap)

•If a player appears on neither version, and are currently at a club who are not full licenced on FIFA (e.g. Brazilian and Russian teams, which use fake players) they are not available for purchase.

•You must have a minimum of 21 players who are on Hero's version of FIFA, to be able to field a starting XI, plus 7 subs and cover 3 injuries

•This would be applied going forward only. Any players already in the league are unaffected

I knew I could sign him - it's whether I can use him is the crux. Do we only use the 10 Jan update, but all players signed have to be 70 or under on both that AND the latest update, or does the player have to be on BOTH the 10 Jan update and the latest?

If he is only on Hero's version, then you can sign him and play him, until Hero applies an update.

If he's only on a later version, then you can sign him but not play him.

I don't think Hero intends to update now until the end of the season, but then we have had Hero's son apply an update in the past without Hero realising!
