Revival currently battling Hawkins & Ryder. Been decent enough so far. Hawkins looks ridiculous.

Angle vs Corbin, Lashley vs Balor, HHH vs Batista and the triple threat. Cant see Angle vs Corbin going anymore than 5 minutes but I think it'll be a long segment, with a few other surpise appearances.

Reigns with the spear for the pinfall. Pretty standard big hoss battle with a predictable ending. Did what it needed to, especially if Reigns still isnt 100% match fit.

Kurt misses the moonsault and Corbin capitalises and hits End of Days for the win. Underwhelming tbh, but you've got to hope they do something with Corbin now.

Even if they do something with him it's not going anywhere ...crowd aren't into him and he isn't anything particularly special...certainly not good enough to break through glass ceiling and if your essentially retiring a legend then that's the level of special you need to be surely...

And I'm not sure that was his choice... on his back perhaps but not to Corbin. You don't go from wanting Taker or Cena to laying down for Corbin. You just dont!

Need to pass the torch to someone. Corbin might not be everyones cup of tea but its a much better choice than Cena or Taker.

Taker isn’t wrestling, Cena clearly chose not to (or WWE would use him) so the man he had a feud with and a younger talent goes over.

THIS is a more baffling booking decision than Kurt vs Corbin. Lashley and the IC title get the demon but Lesnar and the Universal title dont? pffffffffffffffffffffffffff

I have to say...had there ever been so many 'meh ' performers who seemingly get a push or hold titles as there are now.

When I think of how many stars and potential stars are part of the WWE as a whole it's incredible how many times I sit and find myself going 'meh another boring superstar getting a main spot'.

I agree that a match with Taker was never happening and would have been awful anyway..

If Cena chose that Elias sketch over a final hurrah with Angle then shame on him...

If it was indeed Kurts choice to pick and put over Corbin then fair enough but I can't believe it was and there are certainly much better people who are more deserving or creatively can do more with than Corbin

You've got the backstory already with Corbin. It was Corbin that took Angles job as GM and he's been a thorn in Angles side for months. I think this match might have always been on the cards but Kurt decided recently to call it a day.

I suppose in that sense it was amazing they actually ran a year long story with an ending which made sense in storyline sense with a proper payoff. So for that...congrats WWE

Right....Balor has to explain why he isn't always the demon....gives him strength to kick out of two spears and then powerbomb a guy twice his size...

Balor with a huge powerbomb on Lashley then follows it up with the Coup de Grace for the pinfall and his second IC title. Another short match but was fairly entertaining for what it was. That spear Lashley hit through the ropes was legit.

Attendance announced as 82,265 which means it was almost certainly around 70k.

Main eventing after 6 and hours isn't quite what the women hoped for I don't think.

Trying their best buy crowd are completely zapped. Didn't help we had what..2 duds before this one.


We could do with some interference just to get crowd vested in this

Cant help but feel that Mania would benefit from being 2 3 hour shows over two nights instead of one 7 hour show. End night one with Kofi winning and end night 2 with this match.

If that was the main event of any other PPV then the crowd would have been going nuts. Such a shame. I also think Becky should have won by submission to add a bit more drama but I'll take it.

And they successfully feck up the ending too making it massively underwhelming and talking over what should have been Beckys crowning moment with talk of controversy and a not actual pin fall.

I thought WWE had brought in New writers recently....

Underwhelming sums up that entire show...

I will say huge well done to the 3 women of the main event for doing their absolute best to get an absolute dead crowd into it. They put on a show but when the commentators themselves sound weary and burnt out then your fighting a losing battle
