Semi Final Kick Off Times

With the clocks changing in the UK this weekend, I just wanted to make things as clear as possible.

For UK viewers both semi finals will take place at 09:00.

Saturday's Semi is 09:00 BST (17:00 Japan)

Clocks go back at 02:00

Sunday's Semi is at 09:00 GMT (18:00 Japan)

They still use sun dials in Wales anyway don't they?

The more important question is. Does anyone know a good bar in leeds which will be showing the final?

I can ask my nephew who works in Leeds. However we will be in York watching the final over a pub breakfast.

I'm heading there early completely blind as to where to go. Who arranges a catch up but forgets the rugby's on....

Nah, that is Scotland/Yorkshire. Yeah I know, surely it rains too much to make one useful? But why spend money on replacing something that is not broken?

Nah the Sun is just for pictures. Most subscribers were lost when they removed the "join the dots competition" from the 3rd page.

Could always check to see if there is a rugby club near where you're staying and give them a quick call to make sure they're open and fine for non-members to pop by. I can't think there are many clubs that would turn down your money if open though.

Assuming the final kicks off at 9.00 a.m. UK time the only pubs likely to be open in Leeds and possibly showing it are the 'Spoons -The Cuthbert Broderik in Millenium Square (behind the Town Hall), or Becketts Bank on Park Row. There might be some of the pubs in the university area showing it well - maybe the Headingley Taps. Otherwise google rugby clubs.

The Pack Horse is up by the University on the Otley Road - 15 minute walk from the city centre. Used to be a good pub in my student days. Of course if England make the final half the pubs in Leeds will open for it!

Gosh, we get a good old time of around 8pm Saturday night.

Anyways, gotta pack up the cameras and check out. Watching a Eddie for a week from the 13th floors been a bit of a bore.
