How would it look if England won the Rugby World Cup. And Wales went on to win the 6ns. 

It could  always be  Wales win the Rugby World Cup And then England win  the 6ns.

How would both teams stack up in world rankings

Great, they deserve it. Best team around at the moment, in my opinion.

A caution though. Those that beat the ABs often fail very quickly soon after. France 99, 07, Oz 03 all lost their next matches.

England beat NZ in 2012, the got hammered by Wales 30-3 in the 6N. Ireland won in Chicago, lost in Dublin. Oz won in Perth, got hammered in Auckland.

It’s more common for a team that beat the ABs to lose their next, than win.

No idea why. Just the way it seems to work out. Perhaps England might think they’ll win the final already? Perhaps.

They should.
