Rugby League World Cup - 2021
I know its a union forum but...as a local Geordie....
St James' Park is to stage the opening ceremony and first match of the RL World Cup next year and 3 pool games will be held at KP.
Along side, hosting the Union European cup finals last year, 3 games of the last Union World Cup in 2015 Newcastle is doing a massive job of trying to become a rugby city despite the ever looming cloud that is football.
Well done guys...just need to get it right with the falcons...but that's another story.
