Masters comp 2021

Just logged on to place my bets and no thread .Can we have an informal comp usual rules 4 picks by say 4 pm tomorrow.I can do the numbers but I only have an abacus and a spreadsheet is something you put on a bed.

I purposely didn't do the competition this year as (a) I did it last time and it's time for someone else to have a go and (b) the way I do it in Excel means it takes a long time to set up, and as I had only a dozen people playing, it's not worth all that effort. Plus some people have left the board since.

Thinking on rules we should take the total score of your two picks who make the cut and then use the others for countback in the event of a tie.So thats 4 picks 2 must make cut and those 2 scores
count

Dyna, you are running the comp, so it's your rules. When I did it on the spreadsheet it was best three who made the cut out of 6 entries. I could write in a formula to produce the top three for each entrant. But as you are doing it on pen and paper (?) best two out of four seems good to me. If Mac doesn't substitute he's only going to have best two out of three, that's his choice.

My initial thought on the Woods accident was that, if nothing else, it would result in a more well balanced Masters TV coverage. But on second thought I think it will be even worse, with OTT TW fawning, endless flashbacks on his past merits, nauseating “get well soon” hoopla etc. etc.

So at least I’m pretty sure Mac’s pick will get more airtime than the others combined.

We have 11 entries a small but high quality field and punters favourite is Speith with 7 picks .De Chamb has 5 .
