Wrong position Empty Wrong position

Post by carpet baboon Mon 24 Oct 2022, 3:23 pm

Every time I see Alex Goode play ten I can't help but wonder what would have happened if he had stayed a ten rather than being pushed into 15.

Personally I think he would have made a huge difference for Saracens and England as a ten. I do believe he would have been world class as a fly half

So what are your players who you think we're played in the wrong position ?

I knew a girl a number of years ago who always seemed to be in the wrong position.
It was OK because all I had to do was tighten the handcuffs.

p.s. Farrell is in the wrong position at 12.

I think I know what hat girl.

Also agree about Farrell not being a 12

Farrells class at 10 or 12. And it's that reason that if Goode were a fly half the likelihood is he'd have been a bench player or moving onto a different club.

For me a couple of league boys first, Burgess was a blindside flanker. When his delayed starts there happened for Bath he was immense. A very slow ploddy midfielder. Eastmond...dare I say geordie was right, he would have made a great scrum half.

And Nowell should have been moved to full back years ago.

In this emotional moment, im going to frame this....

Sam Simmonds...should have been a 12.

Bernard Jackman was the wrong position as a '2'. He would have been better suited away from the pitch, maybe wearing a high-viz jacket in the car park.

Isa was a better fullback than a winger.
Shane Horgan was a better centre than a wing.
Porter should be a TH not a LH.

Cooney is a better 10 than a 9.

Itoje should play 6 and Lawes play lock.

Interesting in that I disagree about Horgan and Cooney

Itoje can play where he wants to, but even when playing at 6 alongside Lawes at lock they'd switch over at scrums because Itoje is stronger.
