Rugby Stats sites

Can anyone recommend a decent rugby stats site?

I used to rely on the old ESPN Scrum site, but it doesn’t seem to have been updated for a long time. There are a couple of others that come up on searches but as far as I can see have very basic data.

I’d be open to having a pay subscription to a site that had reliable data.

The American ESPN web site (as opposed to the old Scrum site) does have match stats. Not a lot of articles, but match scores and stats.

I'm more after player stats - there are so many debates on here and elsewhere that would benefit from the application of some stats.

They do have player stats, but only for each particular game. No season or career stats or anything beyond the game. I wonder whether there could be something on the Opta web site. It seems they are the group that records and reports stats in a lot of sports....

Depends what you are after in terms of player stats.

These days Allrugby is my go to for very basic appearances/position played/try scoring/minutes played etc

Any proper aggregated Opta type stuff always seems to be buried away from the average punter, which is a shame. Something I think rugby could do a lot better with
