SPL Section

Keeping in line with the other footy sections on v2 ive moved all the topics from the clubs to the main section and im about to delete the club sections.

No a fan of this, the other way was fine even if it where quite, I don't think as a board we'll stand a chance of getting new football focused members without individual team boards

All the other sections had the individual teams removed over a week ago. It was an oversight that it didnt happen to the SPL.

YI i know it was an oversight and I saw that guy complaining about it but it doesn't change my thinking that anyone who wants to join a forum for football wont join one without individual team boards, its a shame

As for Take Me Out, my mates mrs text me tonight to tell me she was watching that on ITV2 tonight and a girl i used to pump now and again was on it, Cheryl her name is

I knew her as Hamilton, thats the name she used when I knew her, it was a few years ago

might be a different one but there was a lassie called cheryl on it aswell from down my way.

Will the old split system be brought back in with the new season?

God knows why it was done but its terrible, no chance of this section getting new members now

It has been done to increase conversation. We're just as unlikely to attract football fans if there are only one or two people talking on each teams section!

Totally disagree, that doesn't even make sense, no one will join a football forum without individual team boards and no amount of defending the decision will change that! Still the change inadvertedly did me a favour

I don't think that's nonsense at all. All the discussion will now be in one place rather than spread out, it's hard to attract people to the board when there seems to be very little discussion going on.

I tell you what - As the new season approaches, we will run a poll for the members to decide which way they want it.

The decision was made for the benefit of the members - some sections were very quiet - by removing the subsections, we monitored the action on the football threads and it went up considerably. In fact, the threads approx had 3 times more comments as people joined in from outside their own teams comfort zone.

I bet those numbers where for the Premiership Hobo, I've not saw one member who isn't a mod praise this move, infact this is the only time I've even seen certain Mods on this section, the fact that the only topic that has created any conversation in this section since the change is this one says it all really, I wouldn't bother with the Poll Hobz, by that time I doubt anyone who would have used this section will care

There's only really a few Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen fans here i think, maybe a couple Hearts.
