Well, after the tragedies of Weylandts and Tondo, there is some encouraging news that Tondo's Movistar teammate and former TdF King of the Mountains Jaun Mauricio Soler is making encouraging progress after suffering serious head injuries (fractured skull, bleeding on the brain) after a collision with a spectator and then a fence during the early part of yesterday's stage of the Tour of Switzerland. Still in a mediacally induced coma and still in critical condition, but showing signs of improvement.

I'm sure we all wish him well for a speedy and full recovery.
