Penfro, I can confirm that there's quite a lot of red involved and a smidgeon of white, not like what a pigeon would have left tho, just to be clear

Half expecting one of the panels to drop off and to see Mr Chips standing there!

So far only 536 likes, so no panels have dropped off. 5,000 for the first panel, it will blatently be the bottom corner one...

Probably on my own with here but I can't believe that the WRU are doing this. I hope the shirt doesn't get unveiled like they want and hardly anybody buys the shirt. Just flipping show us what we are meant to be buying.

On a positive note, count me in for the Dewdrop Open. I'm dump at golf, but I'd still get my bats out for a bash about. Sounds A Spiffing idea.

There was a question from the WRU asking who everyone thought was modelling the kit. My answer via twitter to them was:

@WelshRugbyUnion As it is only 3 blocks wide, I am guessing not Adam Jones. And as the player looks upright, not Mike Phillips! Halfpenny?

i am not sure if anyone else knows but the WRU has come with an idea to unveil the shirt depending on the number of likes its facebook page gets.
what are peoples views on this and what do people think about the prospect of the new welsh shirt (aparently the most advanced shirt at the rwc)

Well the page now has 40K so by my reckoning they need to unveil 8 squares NOW!!

I guess they thought they would not generate so many so quick, the whole thing will be unveiled in an hour if they keep to their word

Ive liked it but its obviously not live / unveiled automatically. Typical WRU! Prob have not even got the image ready yet

I looked at it just an hour or two ago and it was only on 1k, so it has really exploded into life. I just don't think they were expecting it to go so big so quickly.

I think the problem is people are liking the WRU page, as opposed to the link they're supposed to. As I said, I think it's a joke of an idea and I hope that the poxy thing is left unliked all the way up to the first time they wear it. Whoever came up with this idea is an imbecile.

The warm up top looks quite nice in the preview video, looks like the shirt underneath has the big under armour X on the neck.

Looks more red on the blurred pics then the current "Arsenal" shirt

The warm up tops they wore for the Barbarians game were very nice. If the kit was similar to that, it would be a bonus. Simple and effective.

cant be, no fake tan- more likely roberts. just shown socks and short no what a surprise not showing any of the shirt, and the votes have suddenley stopped at 40k

could it be stodds? he often wears those cycling shorts under the rugby shorts things, and the legs are quite tanned....

Bet the next square to go will be the bloody head or shoulders

Its not Henson, skin isnt a lovely shade of Wotsit

its SHANE. can tell by his boots- they are pumas and it would make sense this being his swansong

If that is it on the video, I think it looks terrible! That pelican bib thing with the Under Armour logo on looks ridiculous! I've actually warmed to the current shirt (apart from the sponsor!). Picked up a players fit one for £30 on Lovell Rugby (was £90 a few weeks back!).

Agree - that white neck looks terrible - im very very dissapointed.

The tracksuit top looks very nice mind, might pick that up and a t - shirt but avoid the actual rugby shirt

i dont think it looks terrible just think it would have looked better red, even if it was a lighter or darker red than the actuall shirt so it stood out

I find it odd that people are flogging the current one for almost nothing now - since they'll be using it for another year after the WC (based on the previous 2-year cycles of shirts), and it's bound to go back up in price. If they can sell a players-fit now for £30, and turn a profit on it, imagine what kind of margins they make when they charge £90 full-whack?!

No thats not the case, a UA rep mentioned on another site that this one is apparently going to have the admiral logo slapped on it for the 2012 six nations. Hence another new shirt after the WC but it will essentially be the same

have to say the one after the world cup looks better, due to under armour badge placement however still looks pretty nice, better than last seasons

I like it except for the bloody neck!! Not a fan of this seasons shirt and not sure I like this one either so im a bit disappointed.

Im guessing that the Away kit will be black since the new training wear appears to be red and black in a wierd Man Utd kinda way.

I guess its a case of having to see it.

Right you are! The photo of the shirt (G North) without the UA logo (next season's shirt as you say) looks a lot better than the WC one.

I heard the away strip is black (think it said this on Lovell rugby).

have to say although the silly under armour bit on the shirt, its growing on me, it is much better than the french one and last seasons welsh one. but i agree would be interested to see what the normal fit is like before purchasing

As I said above I quite like it. Apparently there's some fuss about the UA logo being bigger than the feathers but it doesn't look it to me.
