The WRU are doing nothing different to any Union in times of financial hardship, trying to drum up interest in a team that isn't playing well.
I guess the Welsh team píssed off that James Strattford guy at some point.

Dont you think it is unfair on those players who do put the effort in week in week out and do not get any caps at all?

Erm, Alyn, it's a joke article. That East Stand column runs them regularly - the other day they did one on Mark Cueto's "falling foul of enchanted TV images". And last month they suggested that England rugby was going to "retire from the sport" after the RWC.

Will James being capped. Now that was a joke!

The thing about this article is, it's almost believable!

You can just imagine the WRU reading it and saying, "How did they find out? We've told no one! Better make some phone calls and cancel the whole thing..."
