Question for you!
First topic message reminder :
When David Haye lost in a shut out points victory to Wlad. a man with 3 stone on him. he came in at around 15 stone. The idea according to Haye and his team was speed, agility, and movement. Yet Haye did not seem to use the advantage he had over Wlad making it a vary easy night for Wlad.
Heavyweights coming in or around 15 stone is a thing of the past. Heavies are huge these days as we know but how would a young Cassius Clay do against Wlad. Clay's was a 15 stone heavy and would have the same advantages Haye had in terms of speed, agility, movement as well as being a little taller and possessing a superior jab. How do you think Clay would do against Wlad?
How would Clay get passed that stiff jab?
What would be the game plan remembering that Clay hardly went to the body opting for head shots. This means Clay would not fight on the inside but look to fight from long.
Can he still win?......I dont think so.

Well if whoever looks at these "Reports" sees the big picture then I most certainly will not be in any trouble.
I think he would be more concerned that it's always you in these silly things...

Re: Question for you!
His name is Muhammad Ali.
Just because Ali and Haye are similar weights does not mean they are the same person.
Correlation is not causation - the fact that Wlad is bigger and he won does not mean that Wlad won because he is bigger.
People with larger hats have larger brains, but don't rush down the hat shop ...

I think the point is he's choosing him from when he was called Clay for the matchup.fearlessBamber wrote:His name is Muhammad Ali.

He calls him Clay six times in that article. I don't buy it and I remember this guy from the old 606.

I shouldn't worry, misspellings often equal success. Look at The Beatles, Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin...

God only knows where that one came from Chris, coming from a bloke who classes listening to Paul Weller as listening to modern music am well out of my depth discussing such matters.

Since when were Yorkshire men allowed to listen to music made by a shandy-drinking, turtle-neck wearing southern jessie like Weller!? That said, I doubt my knowledge of today's music is that much greater than yours; like my boxers, I like my singers and bands old style!

Have you seen the music produced out of Yorkshire Chris, would rather listen to a shandy drinking southerner than endure even one song by Def sodding Leppard. Plusr Weller is a Scooter boy so is given a pass even on the near unforgivable sin of southernness

MTWT, you cheeky bleeder!
Sadly Ghosty, her mum picking us up and dropping me back off at home straight afterwards extinguished any hopes of sugar pouring that night. A disappointing evening all round, really.

Ghosty, I'll stress that the decision to see Def Leppard was solely that of my lady friend at the time!
Absolutely love both Zeppelin and Sabbath, so presumably I'm safe on here for a little while yet.

And you claim to be a Yorkshireman.
Michael Parkinson and Dickie Bird would be turning in their graves, were they not still alive.

I am familiar with Nick Cave and have to say doesn't do a lot for me, didn't mind his Grinderman stuff but his solo stuff leaves me a bit cold, am miserable enough without him helping things along.

Re: Question for you!
difference is Ali took all his talent and bravado into the ring with him, he would of frustrated Wlad by dancing round him, ate some shots when he had to and unleashed flurries on Wlad that would eventually wear him down. Put it this way, if Ali finds a way to beat a prime Foreman then he finds a way to beat an effective but chinny beast like Wladimir
