How to Play

It was wrote and recorded in about 1980 ish reaching top ten US by a singer ( it was their debut song) who went on to write a very successful movie theme , has been recorded by a British Metal band ( late 80's my favourite version ) and also a covered remixed in the early 90's into a dance track.

So any one of the artists will do but you need the song title

He had a few big hits in the late 70s... a west coast 'superstar' who often filled stadia with rock fans.
(I never even noticed that lyric... if I posted any other line from the song it would give the title away)

To be honest i dont recognise the lyric at all

The guy also wrote a different song called 'Downtown Train', covered by Rod Stewart.
