Cost us the game today and should be no where near the plane to NZ i would honestly rather have Kidney in the scrum

I don't think Buckley cost us the match but he was a shambles when he moved to TH.

What I don't understand is how Walsh gave penalties before the ball was even put into the scrum? A free kick maybe, but a penalty? Just ridiculous really.

Very true Munsty. I was underwhelmed by his performance. Is he on the RWC panel. To be honest i wasnt impressed with Lawrence earlier either.

Munsty I'm beginning to think the Greyghost was right about Walsh.....

I didn't think he was too bad. Those were the only calls I really didn't understand.

I actually thought our dreadful ball retention in the tackle was more damaging than our line out.

As usual, Walsh left me feeling a bit confused ny many decisions. I still dont understand how he is tolerated.

That said, he was not the reason why Ireland lost, France played the better rugby for longer periods in the match and Ireland struggled to maintain the intensity.
