You are spot on mate but why Bresnan?He has barely done anything in T20 for us.

i think he has been the most consistent for us in t20 this year.

He has played only 3 matches.Wouldnt Morgan be a better pick?He has played 4 matches and has 3 40+ scores in those 4 matches which is very good in T20.

How about an award for Most Improved Player of the Year?

Excuse the Surrey bias but my vote would be for 'Viscount' Tim Linley. At the age of 29 he took 73 CC wickets this season and propelled Surrey to promotion. Prior to the start of this season he had 38 first class wickets to his name.

Shanky - I have no problem with you criticising Surrey players. Heaven knows most of the Surrey regular posters and myself do it enough.

However, the language you used seemed deliberately offensive and totally inappropriate given Dernbach's CB40 record throughout this season.

It was also particularly disappointing that you continued to repeat the same comments about him the next day rather than acknowledge he had won the Man of the Match award and might just be a bit better than you first thought.

Basing an opinion on some matches against India's batsmen and a career record is pretty silly anyway, shanky. Dernbach is something of a late bloomer, he has taken a while to gain good control and worked very hard to do that. These days he rarely goes for over 5 an over, especially domestically, so to say that because his career economy is 6.2 as a reason not to play him in the CB40 final despite his 19 wickets at that point in the competition is, quite frankly, ridiculous.
