V2 WCC Round 1 Group 16

Finally the long and gruelling days of round one have reached their conclusion, this is the final group of this round and tomorrow will see the second round begin!

Yesterday saw group 15 winner Bully Ray and runners up The Pope ans Santino make the next round so please vote for the wrestler you rate the highest and the top two will progress to the next round!

Partly... he scored well on my other two parameters for making my selection today - which were Russian-ness and height, but he mostly scored his points on the debris factor, yes I think for every headline impressive performance, you get an equally impressive under-the-radar one. And Kozlov has delivered it. Whilst Punk has been dropping pipe-bombs, Vladimir has been quietly cleaning up the debris.

Also, Kozlov was referenced in one of CM Punk's pipebombs - making himself debris. Which is genius.

Strangely enough Koslov does now work cleaning up the debris at house shows to avoid him having his green card rescinded.

I'm going ADR he has had a good year and looks to be a credible main event heel for the long run plus he annoys the living poopie out of me and the last heel main eventer to do that was JBL during his reign as champion.

It is rare you get a heel like that in the WWE today who actually garners a negative reaction from a crowd and gets them genuinely booing them.

I went for Rey Mysterio. I like Del Rio but I feel that since his move from Smackdown he has become a little stale, and his short world title reign really harmed him.

I've always been a big fan of Mysterio, I'm sure I'm the only person in the world who genuinely enjoyed the run to his first world title, and I think he's performed at a consistently high level for his WWE career. He's toned things down a bit these days because of injuries, but he's still somebody I enjoy watching in the ring.

Gunner for me, in the last year he has really stepped up his game, great look, agile, powerful and has the look, with a few minor tweaks he could be huge, plus after I started liking his game I checked out his NWA stuff on YouTube, awesome

I see a future World Champion in him, he has the lot.

Great body, 6'4+, is good on the mic, has crazy eyes, agile and powerful and comes across as very edgy and intense

He is an ex Marine, he should be playing on that, have him damaged by 'what he saw' and make hima Psychopath heel, have him turn on 'all Americans' who only want to who talk the talk, it would also line him up for a huge face turn a long way down the line

Although he suffered slightly from his first title reign, I think hes the total package. Great on the mic even though English isnt his first language. Looks brilliant in his suit with the title belt. Carries himself well. Good in the ring.

He just needs to be booked better and go over Cena.
Mysterio was a close second. Tight group.

I voted Del Rio, has all the tools to be far superior than Rey, who just lived off Eddie which i found cringeworthy given how long his Eddie references went on for.
