Christian suffers injury

Christian has left WWE’s ongoing European tour after suffering an injury at Wednesday’s SmackDown live event in Brussels, Belgium.

He is believed to have either sprained or broken his ankle.

According to multiple live accounts, Christian suffered the injury within the first few minutes of a match against Sheamus. The match ended abruptly with Sheamus reigning victorious via Brogue Kick. He was then assisted to the backstage area by personnel and was unable to put weight on his ankle.

Who'll take his spot on Team Barrett then?

Not the worst thing to happen though it sucks since he missed the Rumble, Chamber match and Mania match coz of injury last year, but from a spot point of view, taking him out the picture for a few months will do him no harm at all

But come on... it's obvious isn't it? Bias aside - I can't see this being anyone but Slater. A perfect comeback angle. Christian's ankle could be the break young Heath needs.
