I don't think so, or they refuse to accept the majority of the IWC's opinions as in some way snobbish and condescending or smarkish. I personally think Punk is the best in ring performer and promo cutter the WWE have at the moment; the guy is on fire as far as his career goes - he has the cult leader act down to a T, he draws heat, he can talk; has a good moveset and he puts others over well. I really think Punk deserves to be world champion again and I hope one day in the near future he gets his own big Wrestle Mania moment in the main event.

Couldn't agree more. I think because Punk is an 'internet darling' it sours the WWE towards him, as well as the fact that he's his own man who speaks his mind. To me it seems as if there will always be a level of mistrust with regards the WWE's relationship with Punk, which is a crying shame because he's the best all rounder in the business.

I don't think they realise how good they have got it with him. He deserves to be at the top.

Can't agree more on the comments about CM Punk being over looked at the WWE. I find it really sad that the WWE can't see this guy's immense talent, both in the ring and on the mic. Do you think he'll get a run with the strap this year?

I wouldn't be surprised if he had a run with the belt later this year but I doubt it will be for any sustained period of time. He won't be allowed to overshadow the main men.

He definitely should be the main man AberdeenSteve, couldn't agree with you more. But Vince will NEVER let him overshadow guys like John Cena, Randy Orton and Triple H.

I think if you sat Vince McMahon down and told him to watch all of Punk's stuff in ROH, he wouldn't get it. In fact he'd probably say "That's not wrestling". Remember, when Punk had his first match in WWE, he was totally buried by Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Arn Anderson & Michael Hayes who said he "didn't know how to work". Then he was carted off the OVW to learn how wrestle 'WWE style'.

Can you imagine the first time HHH saw CM Punk's Pepsi Plunge.

Chyna did a Pepsi Plunge against Chris Jericho at the 1999 Survivor Series. Suprised Trips let Chyna do that to be honest, then again he was pumping her at that time wasn't he?

What was the beef with HHH towards Jericho then, he really wanted him buried as far as I recall.

Jericho tells the story in his book that in his first months in the WWF he got a reputation as being big-headed because he was insulting people in promos and everybody thought he was 'shooting'. Of course, no-one called him on it, they preferred to bury him behind his back. The whole thing just spiralled out of control and then he got labelled with the dreaded 'doesn't know how to work' tag. It got to the point where Jericho was eventually given a major bollocking by Vince and told he was 'this close' to losing his job. From then on he had to run everything he had planned for his matches by X-Pac (who was tight with Trips at that point).

I love it Sara, I love both his books. Honestly can't pick between them either.

They are both great. I am just over halfway through Undisputed now, I am trying to make it last a bit longer! They are both really interesting and laugh out loud at the same time

I wish I'd thought of that, I polished it off in a couple of days! Mind you I could pick it up again tomorrow and read it all over again. Some of the stories just have you shaking your head in disbelief, and like you say there's a ton of LOL ROFL LMAO moments in there too!

I've always been wary of WWE books purely for how much is it propaganda on their behalf and not what the wrestler really wanted to write.

Bret's has to be my fave due to that.

Jericho's books aren't published through the WWE so he tells it as it is.

Undisputed - I am thinking of reading a Lion's Tale then Undisputed straight after. You would think his life is made up at times. I did laugh a lot but I also found the chapters on Benoit, his Mum and Eddy incredibly sad. I just keep using the word "froot" now
