england match was boring yesterday. 2 clean sheets in a row is the only positive i can think of.....

Don that is why you are a Roy Hodgson and I'm a Sir Alex Ferguson, I found many positives in the two games, I have an eye for such things and to you the game may have been boring but I found many parts of it exciting. The likes of Walker, Rodwell, Jones playing was exciting to me, I love to see the youth given a chance maybe because I'm old school. But to me Football is more then scoring goals.

Phil Jones looks better and better every time I see him.

The problem with him will be pinning him down to one position. He was everywhere last night, and if he moves back to CB, that will be lost from his game.

I agree with that Fan, but will he suffer from his verstility. You can see him being shifted around to fill gaps, rather than make one position his own.

Phil Jones or Jordan Henderson I know whos worth the money.

Jones will be used as and where by SAF but he will eventually cement a CB spot. Hope Smalling does to as then we could have the England CBs for years to come.

I agree with Afro, O'Shea had the same problem being versatile. Hopefully Jones will get to play as a CB soon I think that is his best position, I think United in the near future will have good enough midfielders so we won't need him there.
