What was the best fight you watched this year. Give your top 3.

Here's mine.

1. Porpramook vs Yaegashi
2. Marquez vs Concepcion 1
3. Vasquez Jnr vs Arce

Berto-Ortiz for me. Domestically Walsh-Appleby

Vasquez Jnr/Arce was a good fight but wouldn't put it up with FOTY to be honest.

Rios/Antillon was fantastic as was his fight with Acosta.

Berto/Ortiz was fantastic also.

Murray/Mitchell should have a big say.

Haye/Klitschko...

Oh I forgot about Norton-Williams as well :/

Norton/Williams made me want to hurt myself, seriously.

I think I stuck QVC on after half a round

Ortiz - Berto for me.

Wolak vs. Rodriquez (I) gets my vote

Think I will have watch Porpramook vs Yaegashi

According to Eastside Sato v Fuchigami is also meant to be a cracker.

Wolak Rodriguez was a good fight no doubt but the lack of skill there was just shocking.

Wolak had an actual golf ball on the side of his head by the end it was horrific.

Berto - Ortiz for me

Sato vs Fuchigama was one I forgot about probably better than Arce vs Vasquez Jnr that I had at 3. Satos had a few great fights there on youtube so is Popramook vs Yaegashi.

Hadn't seen the Porpramook Yaegashi fight so just watched it on youtube... think I've got to agree with you on this one - proper dust up!

Domestic fight of the year (UK) - Murray vs Mitchell
My fight of the year - Ortiz vs Berto

FOTY Berto v Ortiz, for quality and action combined
ROTY Kirkland v Angulo rnd1
FighterOTY WARD
Performance of the year. Marquez v Pac III

I just saw the Porpramook vs Yaegashi fight and omg, that has to be FOTY. Round 8 was a fight of the year. Yaegashi stopped moving around round5/6 and slugged it out. It's a shame that the lower weights don't get any coverage.

Rios-Antillon was the best 3 rounds of action i've seen for a couple of years but didn't go on long enough to be considered FOTY

1) Berto v Ortiz
2) Walsh v Appelby (Domestic level i know, but would be hard pushed to find a better fight)
3) Rios v Antillon

Don't think the length of the fight really matters but would go for Ortiz beating Berto, real back and forth action with knockdowns galore.

Berto Ortiz for me. Fantastic fight and a surprise outcome. Classic.

By the way Valero, just watched it, absolutely AMAzing!! #1 is worthy of it to be fair rewatching them all next to each other.

Agreed, Gorilla always makes good vids with the best quality footage available.

IMO he makes better vids than all the broadcasters like HBO!

Concepcion was like a mad man that fight (well I guess he always is!) he just took immense punishment!

There's been a huge amount of negatives in boxing this year but once you smear away the sh!t there was plenty of positives.

Looks like I've missed a few fights so will have to check a few of these out.

I think Cleverly v Belllew beats Murray v Mitchell as domestic fight of the year, all action non-stop for 12 rounds!!

I think the Kirkland v Angulo fight is overrated. Great first round but it was pretty lacklustre after that.

Berto v Ortiz was awesome, will probably go for that, but honourable mention has to go to Linares v Demarco for the remarkable comeback in that fight, and Froch v Johnson.

Will be looking forward to see how Brandon Rios progresses next year, love his fighting style.

I think that the berto-ortiz fight is slightly overrated. Round 6 was a belter but alot of the action was holding and grabbing. Berto got outworked and outmuscled and didn't hit ortiz too cleanly throughout the entire fight
