Your Favourite Superbowl Empty Your Favourite Superbowl

As a Giants fan, a wee while ago I would've said XLII, but now superbowl XXV probably edges it for me. Big blue wins by one point- great dramatic finish- WIDE RIGHT! And on top of that the G-Men set an SB record for time of posession, what more can you ask for? I've got the entire game on my Ipod touch too. thumbsup

What the best superbowl for the other fans on here?

The Bucs' win over the Raiders in '02 obviously.... Wink

Picked off by Derrick Brooks and he takes it to the house!

I could say this year for obvious reasons but I'm going down the neutral path.

It has to be 42 or 43, probably 43 just shading it.

10, as a long standing saints fan, was something that i never thought would happen,
and becauseof what it meant to the city after what it had been through.

Patriots 2001 - The best story by far... Bledsoe vs Brady QB controversy, Americas recovery from 9/11, The tuck rule, Viniteri's kicking in the snow, Brady's last minute drive

Being a Giants fan my favourite is 21 although I think it was a little fortunate the goal line stand then the missed field goal also a big Denver reception to Mobley their TE was called back when it should have stood, the other two 25 and 42 were too intense.

As a Raiders fan I would say Marcus Allen's record breaking run to win the Superbowl lives long in my memory, but the battle of New York (as I called it then) lives equally long. Wasn't that Denver's 4th defeat?

Even to this day I still remember the game as I look at my SBXXV souvenirs (coaches hat, complete set of trading cards in a tin, poster and official hologram ticket (first year that holograms were used in tickets) as a paperweight).

Sound choice Gaelic!

Neutrally speaking it has to be the Rams narrowly beating the Titans. Last second FG's/misses are all well and good, but a player coming up 1 yard short is the ultimate hold your breath moment.

As a Skins fan, it has to be beating the Bronco's. That 2nd quarter is and always will be history. Smile

As a Giants fan, I going to say Superbowl 35 (Giants vs Ravens) because it was close.. Oh wait.. that SB was pretty boring. Kidding, Superbowl 42 was pretty big for me.

But you know what, these other Superbowls in the past 15 years were just as good if not better...

(i forget the numbers..)
- The one where Elway gets his first SB win vs Favre and the Packers. That game was close throughout
- Titans vs Rams.
- Pats vs Rams
- Cardinals vs Steelers (43)
- Colts vs Saints (44)
- Packers vs Steelers

SB45 for me, as it's the first one i've watched the Packers in. Hoping there will be many more.

By the way I saw Aaron Rodgers play, that team will be scary for a longtime. They didn't even have Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley most of the year.

I know. A mean defence, and a great offence when everyone is available. Last year we only just lost to the Pats, and that was without Rodgers too.

And if I remember correctly, the Packers still played them tough. I knew the Pack would get to the Superbowl the way they dismantled my Giants.

I was worried though when we had to win the last 2 games to make playoffs. In playoffs we were superb.

Many forget the Panthers v Pats superbowl, great game of football.
The Giants v Pats game was awsome for so many reasons and the Steelers v Cards game was (4th quarter especially) up there.
Worst by a long way IMO was Giants v Ravens

That was a good one. Forgot to put that one down.

I'm a Giants fan and that Ravens/Giants Superbowl was boring. Just as bad as that Falcons/Broncos SB. I swear, us Giants fans were spoiled when we beat the Vikings 41-0, in the NFC Championship game 2 weeks before.

Agree with the above. Pats vs Panthers was pretty good (at least the 2nd and 4th Quarters were very fun)

It's also the first Superbowl I watched so has a bit of a special meaning to me.

Really enjoyed the Cards vs Pittsburgh in SB43 as well as the game had a nice back and forth flow to it with the "on song" team switching a few times leading to that dramatic finish which I still find hard to believe!
