Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the picture of Maxime Medard* above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

* While the other suggestion of Owens, Thomas and Hughie had merit, I couldn't face having Hughie's mug on the wall Wink

noooo no PJ, or well I don't think so anyways!

There was this Environmental Management System course offer going around and I thought hey why not, I'm the green team rep, it should be good. Then they said it would be a course to help with auditing (it's all to do with the Green Dragon initiative my work is rolling out, they want to go up a level by the end of the year).

Well good for you and da company, I'm all for anything that helps save the planet, I like to think of it as home you know? Smile

It sounds like a similar sort of thing to QM systems though, I guess you'll be checking to make sure everybody is following the correct "procedures"?

I don't have a clue really PJ, shall all be a bit of an eye opener for me, looking forward to learning something new anyway.

But am sure that's something along the lines. I know for Green Dragon we need all parts of the organisation to be as you say following the right procedures. Make sure everything is recorded accuratley blah blah blah. All that interesting stuff Wink

Dreamer, it'll be a breeze. The two most important words you'll need are "show me" (quiet at the back please), don't take anyone's word for it mate, they'll all lie under the beady eye of the Internal Auditor.

Make 'em sweat. Cool

See previous post about the pizza, Gibbo - sadly that's the hottest thing in my life just now. But if Himself knew there was homemade pizza on the go at home .. (sigh) that would probably have him leaping into the car and heading home! Way to a man's heart and all that

Hi all, been chatting to my brother. He was out in the university gym (where Munster always train) he said the Munster team look to really have top team morale. Apparently a load of them were down in the basketball court, chucking about the ball to each other and random students who'd walk by. Playing mini passing and skills games and just in great form laughing and smiling the whole time.

He also said that Leamy was there too jogging about with the rest of them despite reports today that he is injured for 4 months. Apparently he has to get surgury to his hip that can't be put off any longer but isn't "injured" per say. Its just the right time to take the surgury.

He got quite angry when I told him that the reason he is so Munster biased is that he wished he was from proper Munster (i.e. Limerick or Cork).
