six nations best back three
i think all the sides apart from Italy have good back three, Wales is interesting because who will replace Williams. north not been on good form either, the French always have good backs anyway, England are dangerous only if they involve them enough in games. Ireland back three are on same level as-well what do you think

Agree, Medard, Clerc and Malzieu or Bowe, Kearney and Trimble are the best.

The French trio above just shade it for me. Nice balance between the mercurial, the powerful and the finisher.

You could give good arguements for four of the teams back three - Eng, Wales, Ire and France.

Geordie who do you think will be Englands wingers? I take it Ashton will be in with Foden. Who is the other Sharples or Strettle?
Wales are in a similar situation. we could play North halfpenny Byrne, not overly scary for the opposition but we also have the options os Cuthbert and Liam Williams to come in.
I would wait and see whether Wales or England have a decent back three. France Ireland have a settled option that is performing well.

Mafia
I think Foden and Ashton is a no brainer....however the other spot is pretty open. Ill give you a sitting on the fence answer....Sharples on form would be my choice...but not sure if he is in top form, and Strettle offers that ability to create something from nothing...
Ill go with Sharples.
As long as its not Banahan....

Yes I was surprised to see Banahan called up from the Saxons, I watched him on Saturday and he really didn't look all that good, have hardly noticed him at Bath either.
Maybe playing Mike Brown at Wing and having Strettle or Sharples on the bench could be an interesting option.
I actually thought Armitage played well for the Saxons and considering he covers wing, fullback and center with confidence and skill I was surprised that Banahan was chosen ahead of him.

As a neutral I have always been a fan of Strettle but injury has blighted his carear.
Really like the look of Brown and thought Armitage has been in good form but seems bit of a loose cannon.
