He must be out for a good 12 months I should imagine, if not more. Recovery wise he may come out of hospital in a month or two (all things being well).

But he will have to take it easy for 6 months, then gradually build up training and see if his heart can take it. I don't expect to see him on the pitch next season.

I can't see him ever professionally playing again unfortunately, can't see any club doctors giving him clearance.

All depends if they find out if he has actually got a problem with his heart.

I would not take away the hope that he could get back on the pitch. I am sure all the Bolton players visiting him are lifting his spirits and saying you will soon be back on the pitch in no time. He is a young lad, who has worked very hard in difficult conditions. Don't take away his dream just yet.

Yeah in reality maybe, but my point is they're not going to tell him that right now. He is a fighter, and I can imagine him aiming to prove a lot of people wrong.

Didn't Kanu have a heart attack early in his career? And he's still playing!

All depends if they find out if he has actually got a problem with his heart.

He's a professional footballer who's had a severe heart attack at the age of 23.
If they don't find a default with his heart then I'm Jimmy Krankie.

Kanu had a heart defect which they operated on to replace an aortic valve.

Most probably, but don't they go through a lot of checks prior to a season start. I am sure they have CT scans. That said I know from experience how quickly these things can develop (and heal) having had a hole in my heart myself.

I would suggest that it's the same as a normal league in tactics times and voting. Just need Cherry to get the tactics page up.
Votes I would suggest everyone send them to both Cherry and me?

Mancini sounding a bit desperate: "We will win the title, we will win. We will do everything to win the title. We need to think positive always."

They can do everything to win it but it its our of their hands now. Hahaha.

Please please do not bring up injuries, it's part of Football do no not use it as an excuse you have to deal with it simple as.

You have to take into account of Uniteds mental strength never say die and plugging away so please don't take away the credit United deserve any other team challenging for the title City would have wrapped it up ages ago but United are something else.

Why on earth can I not bring up injuries? It's part of football just as much as any other thing you mention.
Utd lost one of the best centre backs in the world for the vast majority of the season and still have managed to have only conceded 27 goals in the league.

So what it's a bloody excuse and I hate it, this is Manchester United not some third rate team like Liverpool or Arsenal who always find an excuse. If Man Utd want to be known as the best then they have to deal with losing THE BEST centre back in the world and find another way. If United lost the title because of cheating or ref mistake fair enough but I don't think we should be using injuries as excuse it happens to all teams it's how you deal with them.

Marky I would have added you on Xbox if I still had live I would smash your ass on Fifa all day, I'm still unbeaten against any 606 memeber on Fifa, Nick the coward is scared to play me.

Evern if they win every games they need us to slip up. So therefore its in Man United hands > Out Of Man City's hands Doh

Viva, Injuries. Well lets be honest, everyone one of Man United start of the season squad players has been injured at least once, some twice and most for lengthy periods of time.
But IMO the best point is how teams like Arsenal blame their injuries for their results, poor form, league position.
Man City miss Kompany/Yaya and their fans moan that its because of the injuries or the African Cup of Nation.

Man Uniteds season injuries are clear to see for any football fan and we are Top of the League. Thats what set Man United apart from any other club in this country

Chelsea will get at least a point tomorrow. John terry has taken back over and the harmony/unity is coming back.
City then have to travel to Arsenal in few week, and I can see RVP banging goals in as a "Come buy me" Statement. There are in good form of late, infact if they win tomorrow there last 7 results will be the exact same as Man United who I think are currently top of the in form table, 1 Draw 6 Wins.

If Man United keep wining against Fulahm (H), Blackburn (A), QPR (H), WIgan (A), Villa (H) and Everton (H) we could be realistically 1-7 points clear of Man City when we place them 3rd from last game of the season.

It is still just as much in City's hands as it is in Utd's.
City win every game left = they win the league
Utd win every game left = they win the league
Hero, are you sure?? Do you wanbt to check the table Hero??

Its not in Citys hands.

We need to be 4 points ahead of them come the derby nick, otherwise I can see Man City winning the league.

Regardless of what happens this season, the team still needs work on it. We need a RB and a world class midfielder.

TSC, agreed. I can see us slipping up, getting a draw somewhere in the fixture I listed above before we play City but confidence I have comes from knowing they are playing Chelsea tomorrow (Albeit at home) who have a new found confidence and Kompany is still out + Arsenal away.
With Arsenal and Chelsea both desparate for CL sports they want/need the points + both team are coming into form and Man City have had a few disapointing results in last 2/3 weeks.

Hero, have you check the table yet?

But we are going to beat them simples
