Given that Wales now has several good hookers (front row sort not street corner sort) but precious little quality cover for Adam Jones at 3. what do you think of converting Richard Hibbard to a tight-head prop?

There are several promising tightheads, leave Hibbard on the street corner.

Me and the missus were having this convo earlier - Hibbard and Ken Owens are the future at No.2 for Wales.

Leave Hibbard where he is.

Thought Owens has looked excellent, i'd stick with him as Rees' understudy, Hibbard as third choice. Tough on Bennett if course.

...and hope Jones doesn't get injured!

Hibbard needs to get fit and challenge for a wales hooking spot. I cant see him as a tighthead. I remember Andrew Lewis from the Blues being converted to hooker from loosehead and it never really worked. Having played with him I know he was an excellent prop but never a great hooker even though he got caps there. That I feel was more down to Hansen and Henry ignoring Barry Williams than him being the best hooker after mcbryde.
