Rhodes vs Rhodes

Do you ever think we'll see a Cody Rhodes vs Goldust feud?

I'm surprised that this hasn't gone down yet. I know Goldust isn't the biggest draw in the world but has short feud with Ted showed that he is still popular and can still go. Include the fact that they are step-brothers in real life then this could be a very interesting feud.

All it needs is for Cody to say he's embarrased to have a freak of a step-brother and attack Goldust and off we go, throw in Dusty Rhodes with a dilemea of who he should side with and it'd be a pretty interesting feud.

Would anyone else be interested in this feud or am I on my own!

I'd like it, i think Goldust is quality and could easily hold the IC belt for a feud.

I think Rhodes has come on leaps and bounds this past year and I hope he continues to move up the roster.

Never though knew the following regarding him:

He is also the nephew of professional wrestlers, Jerry Sags and Fred Ottman.

I havent seen Goldust in months (since he was up against Ted).

Where is he and whats he been up to? I thought he was excellent in the feud (better than Ted!)

Goldust's currently on the shelf due to a shoulder injury, should be back May/June time.

I thought this was potentially on the cards two years ago when they where trying to establish Pricele$$ as equal suitable sidekicks to Randy Orton, they had a few segments together and then Cody I'm sure threw him out the Rumble match, nothing came of it though

I remember Goldust's first feud with Razor Ramon. Razor was one of my favourites at the time and to see this golden freak coming in...with the fake tattoo of razors name over his heart...it was something we hadn't seen before.

I would say he deserves a run witht he IC belt to try and raise the profile of it.

He should reform his tag team with Booker T

I thought the same thing then but nothing came of it. Just a couple of back stage segmants that didn't really involve any altercation and the elimination at the Rumble after being goaded on by Ted and Randy.

Since then Cody has also been at Goldusts wedding but this was kept friendly apart from Goldust biting the air towards him haha.

It seems to me that they are keeping them apart for some reason. In this day and age where nearly everybody has faced each other (except for newer guys) it's quite amazing!

Maybe Dusty doesn't want them in a programme? After all he probabaly has some clout when talking to Vince.

I felt at the time that a face factrion that rivaled Legacy could have been fun with Legacy ultimately going over, not a serious feud, just second/third generation guys who where face at the time with nothing to do could 'stand' up to them for tarnishing their old boys legacies

Goldust, Chavo, Jesse, Manu, just to give Legacy something to destroy while looking more dominant as a side show to what they where really doing (getting Orton the title)

I like that idea gaffer, it would have given Rhodes and Dibiase a bit more to do other than be Orton's run-in boys.

I think a Goldust/Cody Rhodes fued could be very entertaining.
If it was to happen i'd have it be really personal and stretched over 3 PPV's, not just being wasted on Raw/SD!
If giving 12/15 minutes or so the two could really put on a show, Goldust is brilliant in the ring, and Rhodes is constantly growing.
Have a couple of singles matches and maybe a gimmick match to end it; like a Street Fight or Falls Count Anywhere.
Could be a decent stepping stone for Rhodes, i think he could really garner some heat as Goldust is fairly popular, and have Goldust put him over properly, as the better brother so to speak.
Have Rhodes win 3-0 in matches, and maybe even retire the old boy if the time is right?
