It's quite uplifting coming last actually...

I thought that Chelsea were the better side up until Liverpools goal and then they were really on the backfoot apart from a couple of breakaways.

That was what was so frustrating once we scored we were the better team , so why didnt we start off like that

Maybe because Chelsea decided to sit back and defend. It was a dangerous ploy but worked.

I was disappointed with our tactics , Suarez wasn't in the game and just seemed more intent on winding Terry up then playing ... i thought we should of taken him off .

I am not that knowledgable on football but Spearing looked a weak link all game.

Let Spearing get more game experience, he's local and it is statistically proven using a Casio Calculator that local's care more than imports. Calculators are never wrong

As i said, i am not knowledgable about football, it was just something i noticed. I could not say if he is a great talent or not

Dawkins takes himself and others way too seriously. He's easy to rattle too.

I read somewhere that if Chelsea win the CL then one of either Newcastle, Spurs or Arsenal (pending on final standings) will lose their spot?

No, the 4th placed automatic CL team from England

Arsenal will be fine so it will be between Newcastle and spurs for 4th and 5th.

Yep if Chelsea win the CL and dont finish in the top 4 then which ever team finishes 4th in the PL wont qualify for next seasons CL as Chelsea will enter instead as defending champions .

I think thats a poor rule to be honest. That could potentially cost a teame like Spurs or Newcastle Millions of pounds.

I think there should be another way around it yes , but you cant not have the defending champions in the competition .
It needs looking at when you think of some of the poor quality teams that get in from other countries . Maybe allow the 4th placed team into a earlier qualifying round ?

It will never happen , but it should go back to being only the champions from each league being involved .

I can understand the defending champions thing but it could be super costly for a club like Newcastle thats desperate to get some money.

It does seem unfair when you consider the effort that has gone in during a full league season to try and finish in the top 4

It's a bit unfair but what's the solution? 5th placed team and ditch the Slovenian 2nd placed team?

Its very difficult. Hopefully Bayern will take this issue away

Looking at the other leagues...I can't believe teams like Wimbledon and Luton Town have fallen so far down the divisions. I'd still like to see teams like Nottingham Forrest and Derby County back in the Prem but the Championship is a tough gig to get to the top.

Yes in someways its a better league then the PL , the teams are mor evenly matched so the games are better

Leeds , they seem to have the right mixture of experience and youth and in the last few seasons they have had the right idea for me of not changing it to much , just the odd player here and there
