What ever happened to the combined RL and RU rules matches? I seem to remember them from several years back.

They had one here last year... it didn't really gather much interest. I can hardly remember who won.

The rule changed from 'play the ball' (defensive half) to 'rucks & mauls' in the attacking half so it was an advantage to the rugby players who were better at finishing off from set positions within the opposition's quarter,etc. I think rugby union won but they had one player who had a blinder and scored some points.
