Happy with that signing. Now we just need to annouce a tighthead. With the number of players leaving their should be a decent amount of ££ in the budget to get a decent one, but without Heineken rugby and the lack of top tightheads around it could prove difficult.

Neal Hatley is going to Bath as forwards coach. Big loss for Irish. He's through and through London Irish but with little chance of promotion with Booth staying, the oppurtunity was too good to turn down.

His work at the academy has been top notch. Will be a big miss.

I've got Mears now on other game, just need Lindsay to cement Wasps place. Lads great around the park and a beast of a scrummager but just hasn't quite nailed his throw.

Decent option though, great throw just needs two good props beside him

Was think Franks will help him out a bit on the tight which is where he struggles because it's pretty damm hard to scrummage on a little hook when your playing TH.

Did you see Franks at weekend? Dismantled opposite number, got about 4 pens in first half. Him and Castro are streets ahead of other TH's at the minute.

I'v got it saved on my laptop i'll probs watch it later , but Ozzies arn't known for there scrummaging

Can do yeah. Think it's best to start again though - have a short season of 11 games. Will knock something up and see who is interested.
