Cena's Break?

At the end of Extreme rules, John Cena said that he was going away for a while and taking a break, why is he still here? what was the point in that speech and outcome? and why has he lost the arm sling despite his arm getting absolutely battered just 2 weeks ago?

Superman doesn't take breaks.

Think he said he would have to go away of his arm was injured ten said he would wrestle on with a broken arm in the raw after the lesnar match.

Great stuff...

I think he probably said that because he genuinely thought it was broken, or that VKM would send him home for making that speech.
I then assume that the reason he was on RAW the night after is because he found it wasn't fully broken.

But then again, he might not have done the house shows so that he could go and deal with his divorce?
