Rock & Cena *SPOILERS*

Wrestlemania 28, Miami, Florida. The main event is set. The one we've all been waiting for. The main event, set a year before time. It will be:

John Cena v The Rock.

Least no one can moan about a lack of build up!

Very Interesting with a years build up.....we'll see what they do with it now

Sin Cara looked amazing.....seems like he is getting an immmediate crack at the US title

Nice to see Rey's replacement go straight into a meaningful feud.

Not sure where that leaves Miz though after last night?

Can't say i'm too bothered about Cena v Rock, i would've preferred it at Summerslam and then had Rock v Taker at Mania.

I really don't care for a Rock/Cena feud. I would actually prefer a Rock/Miz feud and that's saying something! After sunday's main event I have realised that Cena completely and utterly bores me - with some wrestlers there is a spark, a dynamism, an energy and an aura about their performance that draws me in. Cena doesn't have any of that. His performances are flat and leave me cold. There is nothing about his gimmick or his move set that impresses me. As an advert for Mania 28 this main event does nothing for me.

Main thought about last nights Raw? Corre = jobber squad. They really seem to have rubbed someone up the wrong way

Well, Cena VS Rock is fantastic for me.

I guess that Rock may turn up and cause Cena matches in the year leading up to Wrestlemania 28 unless they are planning on Rock wrestling part or full time again.

As for Miz KB - Who knows, i'm sure they will find someone, the draft is coming up soon too.

Have to agree, Summerslam would be perhaps raise a degree of interest given the build up time, perhaps a Rock & Cena tag title run, but a whole year of Cena chasing after him?! Nah.

In all fairness, i can't see it happening, what's the point of planning it now? We'll still have 5 Cena title runs in that time, and his usual injury that should last 9 months but he comes back after 3 and buries everyone.

KB, what about a Miz/HHH fued over the title?
Trips also has nothing to do now, and hasn't been in the title picture since 09, and if he was to put Miz over; it would make Miz look all the more impressive.

Can i just add that i'd actually have a Cena/Miz rematch at Extreme Rules as they still have unfinished business and would be a good way to end their fued in some sort of gimmick match. Also starting a fued in some sort of extreme gimmick match doesn't really work for me; i'd have them start the fued at Over The Limit, maybe finishing at Summerslam?
I think its time for another Trips title run

I just can't see Hunter putting Miz over, he's been champ for nearly 6 months so i can easily see them giving Hunter the belt short term.

I know people who aren't fans of HHH are gonna say his ego would want it but who wouldn't, but i don't think he would need it tbh.

If he is the only one they can put in to feud with Miz then fine but i don't think he needs the title to be who he is.

I'm not saying i don't want him to have the title though.

He's not the only one. But he's the obvious choice...

Orton v Miz - Done to death.
Cena v Miz - Done to death.
Lawler v Miz - Done to death.

For me it's one of 3 options....

Bryan v Miz

Ready made storyline given the history. Bryan can work a match and would certainly make Miz look good in the ring and push him, it would help elevate Bryan and give him something to do before the draft.

Morrison v Miz v Ziggler

Would be a great feud, have Morrison become #1 contender but Miss Excuse Me gets Ziggler in there, both JoMo and Ziggles would put on a hell of a show and having Miz go over both before dropping the title to Morrision would be win!

Surprised that people are speculating over Miz's next rival as for the most glaring candidate is someone whose just put onto the shelf his obvious main rival until Mania.

The Rock anyone?

After RAW last night it wouldn't make sense.

No mention about Rock helping Miz, the beatdown from the Corre, Cena v Rock at Mania, it would be rushed and not worth it. If Rock is returning to the ring it needs a proper build up and anticipation.

It's been rumoured he's wants to get into a program with not just Cena but the Miz as well.

What I can see happening is that a rematch is made for Extreme Rules for Miz v Cena but with the Rock as Referee this time.
Miz defends but with the Corre then beatdown Rock and Cena. The following night on RAW The Rock then challenges Miz to a match at the next PPV

Problem is i'm sick of seeing Cena in the main feud. It bores the pants off of me.

I've never been a Cena hater but i'm slowly getting there.

So this was announced as the "Main Event"?

The rumble winner is rewarded with a main event at Mania; just like ADR...Oh wait...

A few points:

- Absolutely laughed out loud when Cole covered JR in BBQ sauce, hilarious.
- Miz v Cena at Extreme Rules in a No Holds Barred / Last Man Standing Match followed by feud with HHH leading to Summerslam. Then HHH will have six months to recover before WM28
- This would give rivals (Punk, Sheamus, Morrison, Ziggler etc) enough time to really prove themselves as main event standard. Could be some barnstorming matches between them in the next four months
- I assume the Cena/Rock match is at WM28 because this gives Rocky enough time to make his next film and get into shape before it... wouldn't be surprised if they had a tag run together between then
- I think (hope actually) that Cena is now out of the WWE title picture until 2012, it needs a break from him
- Sin Cara looked awesome and a much better fit size wise next to other wrestlers compared to Rey Rey
- I think this could be the end of the Corre with Jackson becoming Barrett's henchman and the other two becoming a separate tag team
- Could we see Cena turning heel before WM28 by turning on the crowd "I work my ass off your you and you boo me?! Well f you!" Kind of thing.

Someone tell me Sin Cara used a springboard to get into the ring (although he bodged slightly).

That was probably better than any single spot at WM27!

Yeah he did, but he only just cleared the ropes!

I thought it was a bit much to jump from there into the ring - still, he looks amazing - how friggin high did he hang before nailing Sheamus?!

I just watched that part of RAW involving Sin Cara on my iPhone and he looks fantastic, the crowd popped tremendously for him even though most didn't know who he was which is fair enough.

There is no way Cena can be presented as the face at WM28 then, in Rock's home town will there even be one guy cheering Cena bar the kids?

Therefore Cena heel turn could be in the making over the next year so he is a full out heel come Mania

IMO Cena is fine how he is, it will be like the Hogan clash with Rock at Mania 19, although Rock was meant to be the heel i think, he still got cheered by certain parts of the Crowd.

Cena has been getting more a 50/50 or 50/40 Boo to Cheer Ratio usually he is 30/70 or 20/80 from what i've seen.

So all in all, no need!

On the crowd panning shot as his entrance was playing there were only loud boos to be heard. The rugrats at the front might like him but I think the majority are either apathetic or actively dislike his character.

Plus, was he trying to recreate Chris Masters titty dance from WM when he took his shirt off? It was a bit ridiculous.

The atmosphere is tense, you both are pretending not to like each other. Isn't it exciting!

But then you decide to schedule the fight that you could have now a year away giving plenty of chances for everyone to forget, someone to chicken out / be injured / sign a deal to star in a film, or for you both to go "its been built up too much now; it would just be a let down... lets leave it at that".
