My ratings for the England players:

Hart - 7 - Was unlucky with the first goal, made a great save. Solid.
Johnson - 6 - Looked shaky at times, caught out of position a couple of times. Did alright.
Terry - 5 - Distinct lack of pace. Seemed to lack leadership for once.
Lescott - 6 - Average. Nothing special, nothing too bad. Just average.
Cole - 6 - Thought he had a poor game for once. Not shockingly bad, just not up to his usual standards.
Milner - 6 - Improved from France. Whipped in a couple of crosses. Did his job defensively.
Parker - 6 - Again nothing special nothing bad. Forced it a bit at times, but breaks up moves. Average.
Gerrard - 7 - First half thought he was very good, went missing second half. He is our leader.
Young - 4 - Thought he was awful. Nothing going forward. Would maybe put The Ox back in here?
Welbeck - 7 - Thought he did ok. Went missing in parts of the game. Great goal. Worked well with Carroll.
Carroll - 7 - Worked very hard. Typical English number 9 performance, constant nuisance. Great header for goal.

Subs:
Walcott - 8 - Made the difference. Pure pace abuse, and it worked a treat.
The Ox - 10 - Just because he is a LAD!

Johnson 6? More like 3. Cole should be a 7 at least. Agree on The Ox, although maybe 11 would have been more accurate!

Maybe a bit generous on Johnson, maybe a 5 would be more suffice. Cole I thought was poor. Just thought he was which is unusual for him

Penalties basically is whoever came out on top.
So if the total goals scored for each team was 16-14 but it was a 2-2 draw then the team that got 16 would win on penalties.

I have an idea to make it more interesting for penalties, which can be used for the rest of this season's cup or just from next season when Cherries isn't running it.

If its a draw like it would be in a league game, instead of going by who got the most votes, actually have a penalty shootout. I'll use today's scores as an example.

Viva City v AC ALSOAM finished a draw.

So, now we know its a draw, Viva and I would have until Monday to post 5 penalty takers and a goalkeeper from the players on the pitch after any substitutions. Then everyone who's around Monday daytime would quick vote on who scored and won the shootout.

Thoughts?

Good game Marky, I do like the idea but what I would do is we PM someone where we take Penn and save th m example:

Keeper
Left
Middle
Right
Right
Left

Yakubu = Left
Valbuena = Middle
Ben Arfa = Middle

And so on could ads bottom left top right but that just makes it more complicated.
