Andy Murray will win Wimbledon!

By the end of next Sunday evening, I expect Andy Murray to win his first ever grand slam major title with a throughly convincing 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 thrashing of Lord Federer. After this win I expect Murray to dominate Wimbledon for the next 7 or so years in which he will equal Pete Sampras's record of 7 Wimbledon title wins in the men's singles.

He won't reach the final. But if he does, 7 titles is on the cards...

I thought this was a serious discussion on his chances.

So all of a sudden instead of having to beat 2 of the top 3 players in the world, he only needs to beat just 1 top 3 player to get his hands on the coveted Wimbledon challenger title, whereas on the other side of the draw, both Djokovic and Federer have to play each other then have to play Murray in the final, so it will be harder for these 2 guys than it will be for Murray now.

2 days after Nadal's defeat is actually good going for the fair weather fan!

The odd stupid 'old 606 type' wind up article isn't so bad though is it? Ocassionally they tickle me - the ones written with a 'wink in the eye' rather than pure WUMmery, at their heart...

However, I think the first of the winning sets against Lord Federer will be 6-2. Apart from that though, spot on
