He will be back for Super Rugby 2014. League world cup is October next year expect he wants a crack at that and will then come back

Will he come back a better player? Will he actually fight someone that isn't a fat lard a ss? Will people still rate him?

I'll be upfront about this, i'm going to struggle to rate someone playing a different sport. As good as he is, it's really difficult to judge. Hard enough judging those on long term injury.

Anyone got any guidance on rating SBW? Assuming that it might be a reocurring issue.

Is he still going to play the Autumn internationals for the ABs?

Super rugby season or Japan season?

No his season ends whenever the Chiefs does. Wont be involved with the All Blacks for the autumn or 4 nations.

Wont do anything for his playing ability in Union. Expect when he does come back he will be rusty but should get to the same levels prety quickly now he knows what hes doing in the game. I'd say the NRFU are fairly confident of getting him back though the way they have bowed down during all this.

Id hope he will hold rating till at least the end of the season in the same way that Kaino/Fourie held there rating last season while in Japan/not playing at all

Not by the sounds of it supposedly he has another 2 big money makers lined up! Wouldnt mind if he came up here and gave Chisora and a few of the british prats a few shots though!

Would really be interested to see if he is a good boxer. Got the frame and the athletic ability for it, but hard to be impressed if he always fights 40 year old bouncers!

I'd rate him whilst in Japan, but to the same level as I did for Fourie, to stay consistent.

Super rugby off season till Feb anyway. Won't rate him as highly after Feb (best 12 in world) but still strong

Not surprised. blow to whoever bought him on this league. will hold ratings for a bit but after his stint in japan his rating will fall.

Crudely I guess I'll go for rating him something like this:

Now 10/10 - World beater
Japan - 7/10
League - 5/10

Japan is super off season, do players lose rating during off season?

SBW would get knocked out by Haye or Chisora in seconds!

He is nowhere near that level. Hence why he only fights fat losers.

He's def not a good boxer

Haye I like but was never big enough for heavyweight
To be fair most of the lads going for world title fights in the heavies in recent years have been fat losers!

Chisora is poor yes, but he is tough and can hit hard. if he connected with SBW, he would be down!

Haye would be way too quick for SBW and again, would floor him easily.

My opinion:

Quick question for Pooly. Have you dates for the foreigns in Nov/Mar? I have a foreign left from last year and obviously dont want to use it if it leaves me short of cash during one of the windows

I like Hargreaves , just seems the boks roll off quality forwards for fun so he's never had a crack of whip at international level.

Am I clear to sign Henson? Could be a good back up. AlthoUgh don't know where he'd fit in the actual team. They have Tonga'uhia at IC and expect big things from him. And try will probably stick with Ross at ten.

Was genuinely excited when I saw the rumours of Tomkins signing for Sale last week. Have him in my squad on the other game since his brother came across. Then it turned out it was Cipriani being a Tinkywinky!

He can't come across for a bit longer I think, due to that new contract he signed last year with St Helens

Eastmond is some talent , hope he really kicks on as could be a star.

I used to hate RL but now looking at the backs play and broken field running it's such a great sport to watch.

Yep, it's an amazing sport. Superleague got nothing on NRL though, that's a different gravy.

I think you're close their mate; although I'd change a few, Jones for Cole, Ferris for SOB, Youngs for Murray, get Sexton in and not sure Hogg plays 13? lol

Hogg's best position is 13 , he carved Munster up with a hat trick there last season.

I thought he was a FB? If he's a 13 why haven't Scotland got him in there sooner? Not exactly blessed with brilliant centres!

They don't have anyone close to Hogg at 15 which shows how good he is!
