Chinese - cheating dopers or fair & fabulous freaks of nature?

Simple really, given some extraordinary results in the pool and China's already seedy record on matters of doping and generally respecting fair competition, do you think some of their athletes are currently doped up or not?

Bit rich from someone trying to excuse racism (re John Terry) on another thread. The thread was designed to focus on a hot discussion point of the moment at the Olympics, not just to poke fun or be racist (or sexist/demeaning as I'm guessing [your?] flat-chestedness thread was). Apologies if you found the alliteration in the title intimidating.

For those who think there may be some sort of drug related reason why female athletes often appear flat chested, it's quite natural and normal for athletes in intensive diet / training regimes to experience natural breast reduction.

Breasts are not made of any special material, in fact, they are mostly fat with connective tissue, milk ducts, lymph and lots of other stuff chucked in. Their size is pre-determined by genetics but that can be impacted by diet, pregnancy, fitness level and muscle bulk in the chest. f'rinstance, a diet that is low in added fat and sugar, and includes nutrient-dense organic foods promotes a lean body mass.

Intensive exercise will also achieve breast reduction. Aerobic exercises, such as running, skipping, elliptical machines, playing tennis and swimming burn calories and excess body fat. Strength-training exercises that target the pectoral muscles, such as push-ups, tone the muscles beneath breasts. Toning these muscles can help to lift and flatten a woman's chest.

Taking all this into consideration, you shouldn't be surprised if female athletes have "flat chests". Another factor that can make them appear smaller is the dear old sports bra. Thank your lucky stars, gentlemen, that you are not subjected to this particular instrument of torture.

Failing that, there is breast binding, which is most definitely not recommended, but there are some who still do it. Although there is such a thing as a binding bra they are expensive and can cause back pain. Some women simply use tape which can cause deformity in younger females who are still developing. Worse still, is the use of elastic bandages.

I think you get the message. As fascinating as breasts are to you guys, they can actually be an encumbrance to female athletes, but there are a number of reasons, both natural and artificial why a female athlete may appear to "not have much up top".

Try focusing on the athlete's perfromance instead of checking her out as a sex object. I'm sure she'd prefer her performance to be admired rather than the size of her jubblies.

To some countries/Gov the Olympics is more than just sport, they use it to spread their propaganda in their countries therefore they will do anything to win, if that means finding a way around the drugs rules then they will do it.

Unfortunately they have a long history of doing this.

not exactly the most reputable journalistic sources there but given that China is a country built on abuse and oppression, whether of basic freedoms or IP, it doesn't take much of a stretch of belief to think there's some truth in what's reported above.

They're phenomenally talented and they're dopers.

I wouldnt call them cheaters though because 90% of the athletes that compete in the Olympics are dopers as well.

Therefore, its a pretty level playing field overall.
