Rogers Cup Thread

There doesn't seem to be a Rogers Cup thread up so I thought I'd stick one up. I suppose the biggest question is "How will the Djokovic, Murray and Del Potro do after competing in the Olympics on Sunday?"

Looking at the draw ( http://www.rogerscup.com/men/english/singlesDraw.php ) Tomic could play Djokovic 2nd round, Del Potro v Stepanek/Dolgopolov 2nd round and Murray v Raonic 3rd round possibly.

Wow Tomic is a tough one, he always gives novak trouble because of his style although Novak has beaten every time. But in a masters you are going to have sticky 2 round opponents. For his chances at number 1 Djoko really has to have a good summer hardcourt season.

He remind me of Tsonga or Baghdatis; when he's good he's very good but when he's bad the errors are awful.

Yes I saw that too. Querrey's serve was working as well as I've seen it but I'm interested in The Curious Case of Jurgen Melzer. Top 10/20 not that long ago and now this.

Jurgen melzer you mean the guy who at 29 reached the top 10 and was socalled proof of how this era wasn't strong, I don't know what that tour and era changing talent is up to except he isn't playing great.

Perhaps he's starting to concentrate more on doubles these days. He had a good run at the FO 2-3 years ago.
