Skelton just beat up a Croatian window cleaner, apparently that means he should fight the winner of Price Harrison.... God help us...

The french guy didnt look good enough. All effort.

How would this have been scored in the US? Reckon the French guy might have defiantely won it. They love agression.

Don't know which way this will go but degale could well lose this but the fans might have swayed the judges

Great fight and should degale win he needs to remain active so he doesn't suffer stamina issues again

Hometown cards, definitely won the fight by 2/3 rounds but the 119-109 card was a joke.

Very close and could easily have gone either way, but that judging was a disgrace we are getting worse than Germany over the last few years.

117-111 was off. 116-114 was spot on. JDG threw the better punches. You don't get points for walking forward and throwing punches on the shoulder which is what Frenchie was doing.

A lot of close rounds there, agreed. Anything up to and including 116-112 one might be able to make a case for.

The 117-111 card was dodgy/hometown - the 119-109 scoring just beggars belief...

i scored it level, but could easily have had degale by a couple. problem with those scorecards means the french guy could never have won unless it was a ko. the doctor seemed keen to try and pull the french guy out at one stage too i think

Either way by 1 or 2 rounds is fine for me, 119-109 was absolutely laughable, even for a home town decision!

I had it 117 - 113 there or thereabouts to Mohammedi. The opening rounds, Mohammedi was forcing Degale back, the simple fact is Degale didn't hit him, he was hitting guard. They were slappy punches, coming off the guard. Mohammedi was working the inside and hitting with good body shots. Mid rounds Degale again, back to the ropes, was punching in flurries but again not hitting much, maybe 1 or 2 a round. Degale was taking some serious hits to the face from inside hooks and uppercuts through the guard. Watch the fight again and watch his head snapping back - only once did that happen to Mohammedi. Later rounds I felt Degale was making it closer, because he was moving more, spending less time on the ropes but Mohammedi was still coming forward, walking through his best and Degale had to go for showmanship. Soon stopped though when he got clocked.

I stand by my judgement, the Frenchie got robbed, and I wanted Degale to put on a good performance as I want him to fight Groves again soon, but after that he'd get murdered on fire. He's gone backwards. He is NOT Sugar Ray Leonard, he was trying to win the fight through looking flash, and he managed it. 119 - 109 is a joke of a card.

If you had Mohammedi only winning by 1 or 2 rounds I don't think you've been consistent with your scoring - Mohammedi was putting in solid, solid rounds doing the same thing, it was Degale who was losing rounds rather than Mohammedi winning them. Every round where Degale put on a bit of flash and threw a 3/4 punch flurry and hit nothing, then went backwards and took pressure, give that one to Mohammedi - because for every 1/2 punches Degale threw, Mohammedi then proceeded to land 6 or 7 on the inside.

They may not have been flashy, but they were landing.

Degale won the fight for me by two rounds. The quality work was from him and if anybody was going to win by KO was him. I thought he had the boy on the verge of KO 4 times. I don't think he was in the same trouble.

Whilst the wide margins seemed odd people claiming the French boy won by wide margins is even worse. The French lad was tough and showed superior fitness but the quality of his punches weren't even in the same league.
