I didn't see the game and to be honest I'm not massively fussed with watching England play these days because it is so dire a lot of the time. I was pleased to see Carrick in the side, but if 26% pass completion is correct then there is no excuse - that shouldn't happen at any level.

I think our media is a little arrogant to pretend like Poland are a side we should be stuffing though. They are an established nation and have been to several tournaments recently. A point will probably be useful to us.

I'm dead on my feet this morning. I wasn't even up that late, but I went to see The Gaslight Anthem at Brixton Academy last night, and stood for a good 3 hours straight.

This must be what getting older feels like.

I can see his thinking because it worked so well for us. But when it was together at Everton, Jags was the better of the two and Lescott needed him alongside. For England Jags doesn't carry that same kind of conviction. He also needs to improve his distribution because even for us, the slightest bit of panic and he launches it. In internationals, you need that bit of extra composure to keep hold of the ball.

Morning guys, lets not blame Joe Hart because he is English and plays for Man City. He made a mistake it don't matter if he had nothing to do all game the best keepers are the ones that can keep their concentration for a whole 90 minutes. I bet any money that Joe Hart will follow the typical English players who has been hyped to become world class but at best be good. David De Gea will become the best keeper in the world and all the eggs who slate him will be eating pie.

That can't be true Afro, I remember in the last league you were telling me that Jagielka was very good on the ball and that playing as a DM helped him become a good passer of the ball. Were you telling fibs just to big your player up?

Find me that quote Viva, because I'm pretty sure I have always said his distribution is poor and that is why he can't play DM and RB.

But if you can show me otherwise, then I'll hold my hands up.

Joe Hart > De Gea. Both top keepers, both make mistakes, both will go on to be amongst the best in the world. Doesn't SAF even say that his biggest regret is not taking Joe Hart when he had the chance.

Joe Hart and De Gea will go onto be Top 5 GK's in the world, and I think Chesney will too personally.

But at the moment Hart > De Gea.

Makes me laugh, because everything Man Utd accuse Liverpool fans of being, they do themselves.

I'm not tarring them all though and it is a generalism, because some (like Viva) are genuinely honest about how they see their players.

I dont recal Fergie saying that himself. Other people have said it.
Gazza and Shearer were his biggest regrets I though.

Ahh fair play Soddy/Afro. I missed that one.
For the price of Hart compared to De Gea Fergie defo missed a trick there. Also currently Hart is better. De Gea has improved a lot during his time in English football, Hart is a product of English football.
Id expect De gea to keep up his development, hes at the right club at if/when breaks into the Spain team it will help.
Hart now getting CL football will help him and he will carry on his improvement.
I would expect both to be top world class keepers later on in their careers, 30's ish as they are both in perfect situation to gain the experiance all World Class keepers need. Schmeichel & Oliver Kahn are two of the greatest ever for me and their prime was at what age? Mid 30's?

Last English keeper before Foster must have been... Tony Coton?

Nadeem I'm yet to lose a game to a 606er, I'm unbeaten I am Floyd Mayweather. I am the champ, the champ fears no man I don't know how to lose, you're just like my previous opponents talk a very good game but when it comes to the crunch you back down and hide in the corner, you bottle it you don't even make an attempt to hurt me because you are too afraid what I can do.

You lost the game before kick off, I keep giving chance after chance to my foes hoping that one day I will come up against someone worthy of my crown but you weak mortals keep disappointing me.

Zidane let me know when you're on I'll play you.

Who else except Nadeem and Zidane have a PS3 with Fifa 13? I need a challenge.

He can hit a decent long pass when he has time, when under pressure, he hoofs it a bit more when someone like Ferdinand would be a bit calmer. Jags is like John Terry in style. And if he played like he does for Everton, then he would be good enough for England.

If you look at my tactics from last season, I tell Jags to play it simple to the midfield.

I agree with that, if Jagielka got a mover to a bigger club (No offence to Everton) he would grow as a player by playing in the big games and competitions I'm not saying he would become a ball playing CB but he would get experience from the big teams and it would make it easier for him making the jump from say Arsenal to International level then Everton. Look at Lescott and Cahill I wouldn't say they have improved massively leaving Bolton and Everton but they have experience now and also playing with better players it helps.

How long does a player stay inform? An whats this 60 game contracts? The player leaves you after 60 games does that mean 90 full minutes or does a 2 minute cameo as a sub count as a game?

Navas is pretty expensive. I would rather get Alexis Sanchez tbh. His shooting stats are better. I think they go for around the same value as each other.

Viva if a player runs out of games on the contract then you have to give him a new one. They go for about 400 coins and last 28 games. Even if you put them on as a last min sub they use a game on their contract.

Ferdinand is a donkey anyway. Plus he's gone down in my estimation for pretty much blaming ulterior motives for not being picked for England when Capello hardly picked him before Hodgson anyway.

My boss talks stupidly loudly on the phone. It's like he doesn't understand that the person on the other end isn't actually far away anymore - the phone bridges the physical gap.

Plus I'm trying to simeltaneously pretend manage, and listen to a 'webinar'
