Im probably going to get completely bombarded for this, and pardon my complete arrogance...But, Im no big fan of Cena's, but whats everyone got against him?

His current gimmick is on borrowed time at the moment, though he could well have an extended run if he were to change / develop it by turning heel now. It would also mean that any future face run would be different from his current "beige" one.

Not just his gimmick, but his body.
Bar a couple of injurys, he's been pretty much none stop since 02!, by the time he's 40 his body will be shot to bits!, and there will be nothing more left for him to accomplish anyway!

True - it also depends on what his future plans are. I see him as a career wrestler rather than life wrestler so I am not sure if he will be staying on in some kind of different capacity. If he has to opportunity to go earlier then he may well do.

Also I don't think that he will have the same injury concerns as he didn't have the same indy background that many guys did where there would have been more bumps and botches.

Turn him heel? Aint gonna happen. He's the major face of the WWE with loads of 'do gooding stuff' outside of WWE. (and credit to him for doing this)

Keep him face? Its getting stale, we need a change.

The only thing he can possibily do is what Stone Cold did. Rebel against authority, whilst still a face. But that's been done before and he's going to be getting into a programme with Rock. So turning against Vince isnt going to happen anytime soon.

So what else is there? I cant think of anything lol

WWE will end up making a change at some point hes ment to be a babyface buts getting booed when coming out.

Also, the problem with this is that unlike WWE 97 - 02 there is no overarching VKM figure at the helm of the company (unless HHH/Vickie/Michael Cole are prepared to play it on-screen) and it would take a long time to set up the kind of hatred that the crowd had for Vince. Also, he had the reaction of people legitimately knowing he was the boss - that would only work if he was prepared to do it again for a sustained period or is HHH kayfabe took over.

Turning Cena heel will work, and needs to be done so badly. At the end of his previous heel run he was super popular anyway and lots of adults were wearing his t shirts in crowds. The difference is now it is kids and their mums who love him and the adult fans who once cheered him now find themselves unable to since there is nothing appealing in his current character. I respect the hell out of Cena and will always like him. Just have him turn on the fans by saying he is disillusioned with them and how they treat him. He could rip up signs for him as he walks to the ring. Dress in darker clothes (keep same music though). Have him turn his back on his friends like Rey and Kofi etc. He's make a great cocky heel.

I think WWE really should have made him full blown heel when he joined Nexus, and helped Barrett win the title. Would have helped them both a lot. It seemd like they were gonna do that but backed out at last minute. I think only thing that has stopped them turning Cena heel is no other face has stood out as a leader for the company, and I can't see an abvious candidate to do that.

Animal - Could Randy or Miz fill that role if Cena wasn't there?

I doubt we will see a heel turn into WM, or after as I don't see Rock the mega move star able to easily play a face role. They will hope that both can be left as tweeners and go for the obvious crowd tension of kids & women v everyone else.

If Rock goes over Cena they could use the line of "I worked my ass off for all of you... and I hear you cheering him and booing me?!" A loss to Rock could be the thing to tip him over the edge into a huge heel turn... or they could try and recreate WM17 (but do it better) and have Cena stitch up Rock at the match, though how it would happen I am not too sure.

At one point last year I thought Orton was so ever he could be the main face of WWE but now I am not so sure. I like Miz as hell now I don't say why he should change yet. Maybe Daniel Bryan, with a big of an edgier, tougher character? Or a face Punk? Not sure if I'd want Punk face again though. You think anyone could take over from Cena as the main guy?

Punk is great as a heel and it should be a very long time before he is considered as a face again. Daniel Bryan would be great but I am not sure whether the 'E would trust him in that role.

Sheamus?

Sheamus has it all but i'm not sure if a foreigner can be the top face? Can't think of a time when that has happened apart from canadians. Would be interesting to see what happened if Cena turned heel and where his fans would go, i'd see them naturally navigate to Orton

Daniel Bryan has all the qualities to be top baby face. Vince won't ever give him that role though because he is an idiot.
