10 2013 Predictions

1. Bernard Hopkins will beat Tavoris Cloud on points: Ring IQ and sneaky tactics will be enough.
2. Canelo will establish himself on the p4p list by beating a top opponent in the division. Probably an over-the-hill Cotto, but a top opponent will be put up and Canelo will put him down.
3. 2013 will be Floyd's last year in boxing. If he fights Guerrero it tells me one thing - Floyd is cashing out on an illustrious if somewhat unsatisfactory career.
4. Goldenboy and Top Rank will continue to undermine the sport with their bickering and refusal to work together.
5. Kell Brook and Devon Alexander will DRAW! Calling it now. Draw.
6. Froch will beat Kessler and sign on to rematch Ward.
7. Nonito Donaire KO's Abner Mares and Rigondeaux, if fights are made.
8. Pac v Marquez 5, Pac wins.
9. The p4p top 5 will look like this (in any order). Ward, Donaire, Broner, Golovkin, Alvarez. And nobody can deny!
10. If Haye signs on to fight Vitali, he wins by stoppage, and then signs on to fight little bro. Vitali is done. He is so slow and old old old.

Froch will rematch both Kessler and Ward. He will win both fights.

Chisora knocks out Price, you must mean the Price that Wilder just fought.

Well two fairly big issues with your p4p list, if Mayweather wins he stays top of the tree and the winner of a 5th fight between Pacquiao and Marquez will be number 3 at the lowest. Golovkin getting into the top ten is a long shot let alone the top 5 which he simply wont.

Khan fans should not want any part of Matthysse, he'd batter him!

2013 for Khan is going to be tough to get a big win, right now he's barely in the top 5 of the LWW division and the road to number 1 spot does not end well for him.

I am working with the theory that Floyd retires and isn't eligibile at end of 2013. Also, if Golovkin was given the opportuinty to fight the best at his class, he would beat them all. Then I would have him inside the top 5.

In reality he wont be near a title fight with Martinez who probably retires after Murray, only a Martinez win would propel him massively up a p4p list.

Not necessarily sure Marquez beats Rios at this stage, but agree with most of those predictions bar two or three.

Agree about Brook-Alexander actually. Think it'll be a horrible fight to watch at times, but Brook could genuinely do enough to nick more rounds, then get given a draw for his efforts.

1-Bute will not re match Froch, although that's fairly obvious
2-Froch/Kessler draw in the summer, Kessler pulls out an MD back home at the end of the year.
3-Burns finally fights Broner and loses by stoppage in round 9
4-Vitali will retire and Haye will shoot his mouth off
5-Wlad will KO Povetkin in 3 rounds
6-Garcia will finally shut Khan up and force him to consider retirement
7-Fury will fight Arreola for the vacant WBC title and win a decision
8-Chisora finally wins a fight again, against a high school janitor and get's a fight with Price, which he wins on points
9-Cleverly will fight some one in the top 50 of any recognized governing boy's rankings!
10-Larry Holmes fully equipped with bus pass and chip firmly on his shoulder takes out the Brixton Bomber and announces himself ready for a title shot.

Vitali will run scared from Davd Haye.

Fury and Price will dodge each other constantly.

Flintoff will retire.

Mayweather and Pacquio will both retire, without facing each other.

Amir Khan will go 2013 unbeaten.

Froch will take revenge on Ward, winning on points.

Vitali and Haye will never happen. Nothing in it for Vitali and Haye knows he would lose

Clev to continue fighting no hopers and claiming himself the best in the world.

Fury and Price to avoid each other

Froch to beat Kessler in a decent match, but will not be given a fight against Ward until 2014, which he will lose.

How would Froch manage to beat Ward? he was completely outclassed in the first fight. It's not like Wards a huge puncher who knocked him out when he was on the back foot he gave him a master class, Froch is way to slow to catch Ward. He has a good chance of avenging Kessler but not Ward who is leagues above.

David Haye becomes a brand, people forget his boxing. His iPhone games and fitness DVD's are the biggest selling items compared to their peer comparisons. He enters the Big Brother house to top off the year.

Roy Jones Jnr moves up to heavyweight to fight Evander Holyfield... BALCO sponsor the fight.

Floyd Mayweather Jnr and 50 Cent are involved in a shoot out.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr becomes the face of Cherios in Mexico - "The Late Afternoon Breakfast of CHAMPIONS".

Bob Arum exceeds his life expectancy for another year. Annoys UFC fans with homophobic comments.

Hopefully mate, but I don't see Froch beating Ward, maybe marginally closing the gap but just isn't good enough.

Think Ward has Froch's number although preversely in his mid thirties Froch seems to be improving..

Fancy Froch to beat Kessler though...
