***Saturday Tipping Competition - April 30th***

Hi All, Welcome to this Saturdays tipping competition and the first Classic of the Flat Racing Season. Newmarket is the venue for the Qipco 2000 Guineas where the elevated reputation of Henry Cecils potential superhorse Frankel is on the line against twelve other rivals. The G2 Jockey Club Stakes and the G3 Palace House Stakes, along with a nice tricky 19 runner handicap make up the races from Flat Racings HQ. Two supporting races from Goodwood make up the races for this weeks competition, with the usual rules applying, A Nap & A Next Best must be selected and your choices can be either Win or Each Way. As always, the links to the races can be found below -

The Races

Newmarket - 2:00, 2:30, 3:10 & 3:45
Goodwood - 2:15 & 3:30

The Rules

You must pick Six selections, One from each of the nominated races.
You can nominate your selection to be Win or Each Way
You must nominate a NAP which you will have 4 Points to stake on (4pts Win or 2pts ew)
You must nominate a NEXT BEST which you will have 3 Points to stake on (3pts Win or 1.5pts ew)
Your remaining four selections you will have 2 Points to stake (2pts Win or 1pt ew)
All returns will be settled at bookmakers standard terms to returned SP odds
Any Non Runners can be ammended prior to the first race going off. Any subsequent Non Runner, your stake will go on the race favourite.
The winner will be the person with the most points after the final race.

Last week Swanseadabber & Solerina fought out the finish, with both selecting excellent winners and scoring big points with Swansea coming out on top to take the crown. With all flat races to pick from this week, will we have a new champion .... Let the battle commence !!!!!

Apologies for the delay in posting the results for Saturdays comp ...... After a great days racing at HQ where we witnessed an epic performance from Frankel we have a clear winner who romped away from the field in similar fashion to Henry Cecils charge. Steveo77 managed to select a winning Nap & Next Best to go along with another placed selection, leaving the rest of us trailing in his wake.
