When was that Azzy? Considering there was literally no proper chances in the game...

Not heard of Snodgrass or Hoolahan then Sodhat?

I have heard of them yes. But then I don't consider them massive threats that can't be nullified.

It would be like me saying "not heard of Guy Demel?"

Well all threats can be nullified if defended correctly.

Snodgrass has been by far and away our best attacking player all season. Between him and Bassong for player of the season. He's been immense

Anyways Afro I really enjoy watching Everton play so I am looking forward immensely to the game on Saturday. I hope we can get something but im not confident

Well I don't consider Becchio to be a threat from the times I have seen him. I think Azzy is spot on with his yo-yo assessment. Hoolihan is the key attacking player for you IMO, especially with Morrison not there to foul himself this time around

We're not playing well at the moment at all and have had a poor last 4 or 5 games, so it's down to which of us reverses recent form. We have lost a bit of the zip in attack, that we had at the start of the season, which I think comes down to a lot of the same players having played most of our games

Well I think it's a little early to cast Becchio aside tbh.

I think we just need to get in your faces and start off at a high tempo. We need a good performance more than anything, just to get some confidence back around the place.

This Kei Kamara bloke we have brought in on loan seems to have pace and power about him. Very raw. Hopefully he can be an X Factor off the bench so to speak.

I agree. If you can put us under some pressure, we might back off a bit, like we did against Oldham.

I think Becchio deserves more of a chance, but just the few times I have seen him, he doesn't look good enough for this level.

He got a decent goal against Chelsea in the cup.
Whether he can do it regularly at this level is another matter.

But there have historically been some real terrible strikers that just ended up in a purple patch. Jon Stead. Darius Vassell. Malcolm Christie.

I dunno if Becchio will even start haha. Expect Holt will. I think Becchio has been brought in to chip in with goals. I dont think he will exactly become a top player

No chance Roy would pick Wilson. A keeper playing in Scotland is one thing, a defender is quite another. There are far, far better options for England than him.

And your Premier League campaign went so well the following year. Oh, wait...Laugh

The year that Forest were top 2 all year, then Albion pipped them for second, was glorious. All the Forest fans on 606 were full of themselves, "back where we belong", "we're better than you", "we own this division". Then BOOM! You beat us at home in the New Year, and after that we win almost every game and you fall apart. Happy days Euro Division Homepage XLIX - Page 12 3559488474

Fail to see how, it stopped your embarrassment of a following from being inflicted on the rest of the world. And your mob is so quiet these days, it really is fantastic.

Don't get me wrong, I used to love Forest in the days of Stevie Stone, Pearce, Bryan Roy etc, but that season turned me against your lot. I bet you were one of them too GSC, admit it.

I just got caught up in looking over the Balloon Door records of the past and the World Player of the Year too.

In all the years of his active career, it seems Paul Scholes didn't receive a single vote in these polls. Underrated? For sure. But all Jack Wilshere needs to do is get a single vote somewhere in his career and he will technically be held in higher worldwide regard... Whistle

No, no, no.

To be able to be classed as better he needs to win a Balloon Door. It is irrelevant that Scholes received no votes ever Whistle

Scholes has played for 20 years. In 20 years, not a single vote was cast in his favour for him being the best player in the world.

If Wilshere gets a solitary vote - and I mean one vote - before he retires, then he has achieved more individual recognition from Fifa/Uefa than Scholes.

Yes but according to some Wilshere is already better then Scholes ever was even with a leg break in his short career.

If he is this good at the current stage he has to go on to become the greatest because we all know how highly rated Scholes is among some great managers and players

Clearly he wasn't as rated as you lot like to think as he didn't receive a single vote for Balloon Door or World Player of the Year throughout his entire career.

Our question to you is why must someone win a accolade that Scholes received no single vote for to be classed as better than Scholes at any point in either careers?

Put it this way at 19 Wilshere had received as many Balloon Door votes as Scholes had throughout his career

Im not having this discussion with you lot, you lot are the reason why England team never progresses and then you're crying why can't we play football when you attack the rare gems of proper footballers likr scholes.

c150 National managers, c 150 national captains and I don't know how many journalists. Say that's 500 people. Each get 3 votes.

Over 20 years, that's 30,000 votes and not one single vote for Scholes.

Surely if he was that highly rated, he would have got at least 1 from 30,000.
