Yeah Giants haven't had any sucess recently... Dolphins aren't far off considering it looks like they're adding Wallace and keeping Hartline, which leaves them weak at DB, plus with them being in the AFC he won't face the Packers often.

That would be history... And yes it does matter. You're right last year will have been a disappointment but they only just missed out on making the post season and the season before they won the Super bowl, how much has really changed in those two years that makes you believe they couldn't make it into the postseason again?

They finish 9-7 Seattle went 11-5 and so close to the championship game, if Woodson wanted to go the the team with the best chance of a SB he should choose Seattle

The Giants 2012 opponents finished a collective 111-96-1. Seattle's opponents went 104-102-2.

We both went 4-1 vs common opponents, both beat Carolina, GB, Seattle split 1-1 with SF and we went 1-1 with Dallas. But I'll stress we actually beat the Packers fair and square plus we humiliated the 49ers in their backyard. We played 6 playoff teams including the two NFC CG teams and the Super Bowl winners, WAS, @BAL, @CIN, @SF, GB & @ATL 5/7 on the road. Seattle played 4, SF, NE, GB & MIN all at home plus a trip to SF.

I'd say there's more than enough evidence there to say the Seahawks had an easier schedule and a dodgy gifted win.

Also, it's not just HISTORY but the Giants roster is packed with players who have rings for the franchise. Unlike the Dolphins, Jets & Seahawks.

the Seahawks have no history, the only reason we are talking about them is because they are in the same division as the niners. The Cardinals and Rams are more successful teams....

Hawks just went 11-5, they have an amazing QB and RB, have an all pro centre, and an elite DEFENSE , an are primed to knock the 9ers off the top of the division , there are other reason why to talk about them

The funny thing about the NFL is that next season because we aren't the reigning champs and finished 2nd in our division we'll have an easier schedule and because you went 11=5 and made the playoffs yours will be harder. I wouldn't be surprised if Seattle miss the playoffs next season. NYG and NO will be stronger and have easier schedules.

so we playeach other, while our 2nd placegameis home to vikings, and yours is @ Panthers. so pretty equal, yes u do play the AFC west but we play the south , so no real differnce there. your divsion is a shoot-out, like ours, andwe each have a suckyteam to beat twice, so stregth of scedule is preety even, but seattle have the better all round team, that is a FACT,

the seattle dynasty is here, our team now beats the 05SB team hands down

Have you watched every game every other team has played this year too? How else can you judge the Seagulls to be top 5 without watching the rest?

I'm not going to reply after this. But cherries, you are,nt annual SB contenders, you haven't been in one in ages. You haven't even made championship game. Also you and niners are not tied, you may have beat the 49ers one game but they are still the standard of the division and have actually made a SB recently with a young team. And having Denver, Flacons or Pats ranked above niners is weird choice too, envy isn't nice. And laugh out loud at dynasty, win the divsion first and we'll talk.you said the exact same stuff prior to last season and Seattle still didn't win the division and didn't make the SB. And with 49ers key players all signed, by far most draft picks and cap room, good luck in 2018 maybe but until then this isn't even a UTD and City situation, it is like United vs Ipswich

And with 49ers key players all signed, by far most draft picks and cap room, good luck in 2018 maybe but until then this isn't even a UTD and City situation, it is like United vs Ipswich

its on like donkey kong next year

hawks niners i will guarentee you 2 prime time games,

just remmebr the beatdown we handed to you last time, kaep couldnt handle the heat of the Clink ,

next yera is our year, 3elieve

For all but a bounce of the ball or a tackle here and there the 49ers could have easily been going into next season with two consecutive SB wins.

You mean if Kyle Williams could hold on to the ball and not pee his pants as Jacquian Williams and Devin Thomas were running at him?

The best part of that game wasn't any play. It was Steve Weatherford running around like a ten year old after the Tynes kick went through the posts. Love Weatherford.

Or if they didn't choke both times

I think there was a bit more than a bounce of a ball or a tackle here and there between the Ravens and 49ers. Until the power issue it was very onesided.

Or Atlanta gets a flag etc. What if scenarios are pointless.

Ultimately, for me is that SB winners are lucky.

Not a bad thing but every SB winner has needed a break at some point.

Matt Moore re-signs with the Dolphins. I'm disappointed. He would have been a great stop gap for this season before we get our franchise QB in the 2014 draft.

Why does he want to play back up to Tannehill when he can be a starter at the Jets?

That's a slight surprise, he was being mentioned as a possible signing to challenge Weeden. While I thought he would get the Miami starting job last year it's clearly gone so it's probably all down to money as per usual.

Eh, at this point hes a backup. Take more money to hold a clipboard in a better situation than New York or Cleveland.

Depends how long his contract is. I think it's a shrewd move by the Dolphins though. He is better than some starting QB's.
