Good move IMO, The Sheild need to be fazed away from the 'dream teams' as it's not a sustainable existence for them.

I'd hope they would freebird the titles rather than just have two of them holding it, would work with the whole team ethic.

Will they use the freebird rule? Or have Ambrose/Rollins get them, while Reigns gets a midcard title. The freebird rule will fit there faction as there all about being a team.

I mentioned a while ago I'd like to see The Shield go down the freebird route if they became Tag Champions, seems like most are of the same opinion, I'm looking forward to this feud, I like Hell No when they're allowed to get physical, when they first began to get along I enjoyed how psycho they got with the chairs, I think they'll need to be like that to live with The Shield, it'll be more realistic

I'm not sure what them as champs will do for the Tag Division though to be fair, I'm not sure if I want to see them face genuine Tag Teams or face 'super' teams like Orton/Sheamus, I feel beating guys higher up the card is the best way to keep them over, I don't really see them as a Tag Team and don't feel pigeon holing them is the way forward

Freebird rule makes sense short term, but I agree with Kay Fabe, I think they have a lot more to offer than keeping them in the tag division.

Best way I can think of putting it is I'd like them to be more Horsemen than Freebirds. Make it clear that they're one unit and will remain that way, but give them individual feuds. Then bring all the feuds together for the blow off match, like the Horsemen did with War Games. Maybe even put them into what would become a signature match, again, just like War Games is synonymous with the Horsemen.

What I do think could be cool is if they had the individual feuds but also held the tag belts using the Freebird rule. It'd be a pain in the backside to keep up with, and there'd be a pretty big risk of over-exposure, but I must admit, I'm a huge fan of all 3 of these guys. The more TV time they get, the better as far as I'm concerned.

I think this would be a great move. DB and Kane need to part ways now and who better than the Shield to take the titles away? Could they hold them as a faction and interchange who defends them? I think some team did this years ago..........as long as Ambrose gets his hands on a title that's fine by me
